"But... this is the first floor."

After seeing Four Rooms during one of the movie nights, I got inspired to do a bellhop girl. Chose 1950's America as the basis for a style.

This was a bitch to work on, experimenting a way to do multiple strong light sources close to the subject. And the recent update to Clip Studio Paint added "layer comps" which allowed me to show or hide sets of layers in a few clicks, such as for specific light sources.

I don't think I've seen you do a background before...(you probably have and I just haven't seen it)

This turned out really really nice!

I don't know if you've ever gone to review the comments on IMDB or whatever for Four Rooms, and so I suggest you do; they're pretty much all scathing pans~
I enjoyed the film(s?), though~

Okay...this is one of my newest favorites. Everything about this images screams sheer talent. The amount of detail proves that the artist truly cares for their work. The design of the character's hair in particular stands out to me. I also appreciate the way her uniform curves over her belly. The outfit in general is one not seen often in works such as this and that makes the whole image all the more special.
