The library is a great place to relax or study. And a perfect place to put a lighthearted scavenger hunt. But in a world where monsters hide in the shadows, one wonders if it can stay lighthearted.
Looks like I've managed to stay ahead of Voretober for 10 days. I wasn't sure I could make it this far.

The idea of a dragon reading DND manuals is fun. Like a vampire hoarding Twilight and its derivative novels. It would probably be a combination of amusing, offensive and fascinating to learn what the mundane world imagines them to be.
Insert joke about dragons calling companies greedy.
Funny play with the names - Emma, Emerald. Also it seems like like Emerald is young, brash and very full of herself... and full of Brandy, for a time. Wait. Brandy, drunk. That's another play isn't it?
Also congrats on your story output. 10 short stories in 10 days is nothing to scoff at. I wish you had more engagement.

One thing that Blaise didn't quite figure out was that the bookmarks were on pages where a true fact about Amethyst's variety of dragon was. But as there would be plenty of inaccurate information on the same page, and the librarian would never mark up the books herself, they were more of a bonus than anything else. Amethyst does enjoy reading up on how the dragon mythology is mutating in modern pop-culture.
Yes, Brandy's name was a play on words. Though having her actually getting drunk was something I threw in during writing.
People might be more interested in these if I came up with more unique titles, instead of just using the Voretober prompts. I might go back and add some in later.

That's a valid observation. That, and the lack of thumbnails and the fact there's lots of content (being (k)Inktober, after all) might also be factors.
