Yes, the interior of the ship transforming into a stomach around the guests, with them trying to escape only to be trapped inside and being ultimately thrown into a growing pond of gastric juice to be digested (in my view, all the cabins and other spaces unfold into one gigantic stomach) is what's happening inside her, and what I really love the contrast between such an horror scene and the cuteness of the demon girl and of the result of her fusion with the ship ^^
