I've been considering that. Probably not the full Karbo bestiary, but a flavor of it. Big versions of a lot of critters, toads, fish, snakes, lizards, carnivorous plants, other nagas, and likely various other mythical creatures prone to eating humans.

If you have a favorite, I'd be curious to hear it. I do want Mint to rescue Kay from something at some point.

The artist knows best, but if you're really that curious: If you aren't so region-specific with this jungle, the Pollo Maligno might be fun to play with. It's a man-eating chicken from Columbian folklore, and what snake doesn't like poultry? If you're looking to stick to the jungles of India & southeast Asia a la the origin of nagas as a concept, then some kind of tiger entity might do. Anyway you take it, I'm interested to see how you develop this setting & their relationship.

I don't think I want to keep it earth regional. I'm fine with tweaking reality. I figure there is a jungle full of monsters and magical nonsense and somewhere nearby a city full of modern humans with cars and apartments. I'll deal with the implications of that as needed, but I suspect a whole lot of hand waving.

This is not our world and I'm ok with that.
