On the strength of the illustrations I've ordered the paperback from lulu (for a tense moment I thought I had sent it to my grandmother's address). They are filled with the same sense of subtlety and understanding that so impressed me with the story itself. Also, I want a beard like his (he can keep that particular girl, though).
I'd say more, but I don't want to gush. Effortlessly, exactly right.
