Well, I always feel bad about the tiny smattering of comments that writers get on the site, especially considering the time and effort that goes into a story. So it only seems right to spend some tiny fraction of the number of words in the story in order to let the author know how much I appreciate it! ^^

Although to be honest I wrote this in all of 2-3 hours this morning... so I can't claim there was much effort involved. :s

No, he meant what he said. If they can read, good for them, they know better than to breach the contract. But if they sign without reading the fine print, tough luck...
