(On the books is the words Logic, Philosophy, and Spirituality, the two symbols hanging from Vlads hand is the symbol of Egypt and Kali of Hinduism, which I identify myself with, and the disk behind him is a old styled halo.)

I usually kept my personal beliefs quiet and not out in the open. For reasons unknown even to me. Maybe its cause I'm afraid of how people react. But Fear has dominated my life for so long. It is not fear of God that does it though, I put that down a good while back ago.

I think its time to put it out in the open, in my own personal struggle to make myself more passive and try to put a end to my own fears.

When was younger(I forget how old I was), my introduction to God was actually by my best friend. I was freaking out about the lightning not far off(I was about scarred of anything), and she said belief in god would protect me. As years go by, my parents would teach me more and such, but they also taught me something that seems to be kinda rare in religious families. Tolerance. To be tolerant of not only people of religion but of color. Some of my first books were Dr. Seuss books(Which I will likly give to my own children to read). When I was younger the messages weren't clear to me but now when I look at them again, I can see them.

At last my faith was in crisis when my grandfather died. As it is said, its what hits home that hits the hardest. I wanted to ensure myself that my grandfathers soul was fine...but I found in my seeking of knowledge, that I learned that apparently God did not create humanity, that we evolved, that there is no "fairy tale" as christians would have you believe. This also lead to my art work getting darker, turning my original alter ego Dr. M, into the dark Lord Malice and the eventually birth of Night.

One year later, my dad nearly died on us, and the fact the odds of him surviving was so great that he still pulled through, reassured myself. I also learned of heal through prayer or something like that. Months later...here I am.

I know this seems rather long now but I will get to the point. Ben, Foxlover666 as you may know him, soon became my spiritual teacher and thus here I am. With his help and my own experience, I have gained my own philosophy and spirituality to a point where I may even write a book on it.

Whilest I no longer believe in the Old Genesis, the messages of the New genesis proved far stronger to me. I soon found common ground in other religions, espically hinduism(One of the two religions I would embrace if I had to), and soon found my true calling card. Universalism. The belief that all is god.

God does not want us to fight like savages, treat people like they were monsters, and even have us kill his/her name. She(to me its a she) loves us all, even those who do not believe she exist. Christian, Muslim, Jew, Hindu, Buddhist, Athiest and etc., all of these who live good loving, moral lives are all worthy of eternal life. To me, evolution is the natural creation and a true, genius god would have her children grow, learn, change, and evolve. Whilest scientists found how things work in our universe, they . I learned that even a Christian is capable of wrong doing, and that religion itself truely is a double edged sword, used for good and evil, depending by the wielder.

The crusades was a grave insult on EVERYTHING Jesus talked about, and no dought he wept. But though there were the horrible, there were the good. Martin Luther King Jr. lead his fellow african americans, and even white Americans, to push for reform and tolerance.

True science may have proved to be a stronger healer to society, but I have learned that it can come at a grave cost. We techincally live in more dangerous times then ever. Where entire armies and cities can be wiped off the face of the earth...with one button press. People say the good outweigh the bad, but the bad can easily wipe out the good as well. Just like religion, it is a duel edge sword. One we put way too much faith in doing everything for us, next to money.

Whilest some will say religion is the reason war exists, I still will not accept that, no matter if you spam me in every pic, topic, and post I ever make. Communist regimes, who were atheist by practice, still waged war, still oppressed its people, and many lost their lives for the "greater good." I have yet to meet a person who has admitted to this and has mostly ignored it.

I then learned the true problem, with both government, religion, and science. It is not them that is really evil, but often the humans who misuse them. Who use them to conquer, dominate, slaughter, and steal. Those who pervert them for their own use. Eventually the only true blasphemy to me was the alteration of history for people to try to prove a point.

In truth I think our way of thinking is flawed. We seem to think narrow mindedly. People say water is needed for life to exist, and yet, there are creatures who exist in desert regions of the world. Instead of being open and tolerant to peoples beliefs, we choose to fight them, and to some find joy in it. Why war when we can have peace? Why hate and not love? Love is a true, holy thing, and problably one of the strongest proofs to me of a loving God. As Martin Luther King Jr. Said.

"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that."
Martin Luther King, Jr.

This is my personal beliefs put into text form, and you will see this here and on Deviant as I try my best to put at least most of my fears to rest. Feel free to comment, as I will give you one of two things I will say.

(I know this isn't exactly what youd find on a Fetish website, but I thought if there would be people posting what they themselves believe on here, I believe I have the right to too)

once in my life i was bacicly the "don`t know don`t care" type. but then my life was changed one day. "the day i became a sinner". and now that i am what i am i still have asked myself a spimple question many times, "what would we lost without religion?" (and i still live rather on a sin, then a lie.) and as i have said before about those who wrothe this "bible" thingy. "if you have power, use it wisly or else you will end up in madness" i have never understood some of this comments from this book. but me and my kind are still figthing it. after all, "they live on lies whritten by humans."

Not a man of religion myself. But I respect your beliefs, and your long comment (forgot what it's actually called XD) was very thought probing.
It's always good to see people reveal their own beliefs, so good on you.

And is that the Ankh that Vlad is holding? Symbol of Life?

The differnece is between Atheist and Religious rulers is that the atheist leaders, although many were bad, they DID NOT COMMIT their acts IN THE NAME OF ATHEISM

DarkArtist

Posted by DarkArtist 15 years ago Report

No, but they still committed it in the name of communism, which is mostly athiest based.

May love guide you from the path of ignorance.

Redatheart

Posted by Redatheart 15 years ago Report

it isn't "athiest based" hell, they weren't even communist.Instead of creating a fair, and equal socity, they took power for them selves and created a totalitarianist regieme. and again, no were does it say that any actions were commited in the name of atheism. absolutly nowhere

Id say more but it just keep you going on. Suggesting from what you say and what your avatar, I would say trying to convince you you are wrong is unlikely.

fine then, but i support a communism that is based off the manifesto, not the dictatorships of stalin or mao or Kim jong il, in order to understand what i am infavor of, you must read the book yourself

DarkArtist

Posted by DarkArtist 15 years ago Report

Perhaps, but isn't athiesm also a teaching of the manifesto?

Your talking to a person who use to perfer communism.

Redatheart

Posted by Redatheart 15 years ago Report

true, but the manifesto also relates to many religious practises such as charity, the good samaritan and things like that, the manifesto talks about atheism becuase many religions had corrupted governments to help them selves and those who work for the religion, thus leaving commoners with the same proplem of poverty, but now with the grip of a government backed religion of which you couldn't turn away from

DarkArtist

Posted by DarkArtist 15 years ago Report

If religion corrupted governments, what corrupted the communist governments then?

Redatheart

Posted by Redatheart 15 years ago Report

the dictator's selfish wants and needs that abused and overlooked the needs of everyone else

DarkArtist

Posted by DarkArtist 15 years ago Report

Ah, but if that is the case, is it religion that corrupts or is it the people in religion?

Karl Marx looked down upon religion, seeing it as a form of imperialism. As such, religion was in most if not all communist countries get abolished. This thus takes away freedom of religion which begs to ask how communism is a better solution for the workers if they are not allowed to speak their mind or pray as they like.

Redatheart

Posted by Redatheart 15 years ago Report

Karl Marx looked down at religion yes, but didnot require people to give up their belifs, it is only the dictators who apply such restricting laws on people, as for people and religion, if it is people who corrupt religion, then we aren't even close to being fit for religion

DarkArtist

Posted by DarkArtist 15 years ago Report

Nor are we close to being fit for communism, if every time a communist regime rose it ends up with corruption and tyranny.

DarkArtist

Posted by DarkArtist 15 years ago Report

Communism is ment to set up a utopia for humanity, but utopia is impossible for humans cause the chances of getting a bad leader are just as good as getting a leader who actually cares for the people. A good idea but unless its put in the right hands, it becomes a nightmare, as everything does. Unlike communism, religion has been around since man came to be and was always apart of a civilized society. Religion itself now is in the backseat of history now and only gets brought up it seems when some lunatic blows himself up, kills a lot of people, or commits some hanous act. Even so, I put more faith in the of spirits and supernatural then I would put into human runned governments, communism or otherwise.

Redatheart

Posted by Redatheart 15 years ago Report

but then why hasn't the supernatural prevented the horrific events in our flawed history? why hasn't god appeared before us? who created god?

DarkArtist

Posted by DarkArtist 15 years ago Report

Ah your cute, I dont believe in god in the traditional big hand in the sky way. God appears to us as we interpert God. If we seek him then we will find him in ourselves.

We are the ones who make our choices, and so far its WE who made the horrific things happen.

I can espically see you are unwilling to move on your position and your defense comes with asking questions that are often asked to challenge theistic beliefs. They work for Christianity and such, but they don't work with a person who believes in god in another way.

I can keep wasting your time doing this, since your debate hangs on little ground. Also, learn to capitalize.
