In this image, Felecia is out alone, relaxing amongst the flowers on one of the hills at the edge of her home. She is in her "natural" state, with no coloration or special camouflage in effect, other than the faint, oily-rainbow sheen of her slime. The location she is at is on the north side of the homestead, at the top of a small hill. The view overlooks the trees below in a shallow valley and reveals the mountains far to the north of the Howling Forest.
Felecia lives with her human husband, David Vorchek, in a homestead that is situated within the Howling Forest. Other inhabitants include the Verdoya tribe (several dozen tomthumbs) led by Quincy, a neko girl named Satasha, and a miniature dridder named Serimela.
Felecia is a rare species of miniature chameleon slug-girl, measuring just over twelve feet from head to tail. Her whole body is covered with a remarkable hide that can alter its coloration and texture, as she desires. This trait even extends to her long, wispy hair. The only constant with her appearance is her eyes, which are always a dark shade of emerald green. She rarely alters her human appearance (except for her hair color), preferring it to stay constant - though she will use her full chameleon abilities when attempting to hide from or sneak up on someone. She also possesses the ability to change her scent to mimic other creatures and plants. She is capable of sneaking up to observe even the most skittish of creatures, with her form nearly invisible and her smell completely matching the surrounding environment. Unbeknownst to Felecia, her species is also effectively invisible to predator sense - her magic field is innately masked to blend into the background.
In the wild, chameleon slug-girls are omnivorous. Their diet consists of plant material such as leaves, grass, fruits, fungus, and roots, as well as any small creatures that manage to become stuck in their slime trail. Unlike other slug-girls, their slime is not very sticky, but is instead incredibly paralytic. Prey that comes into contact with it succumbs to a numbing paralysis mere moments after exposure. The paralysis usually wears off within an hour, though prolonged or substantial contact extends this time greatly. Ingestion of the slime is usually fatal. A tiny dose can kill a human-sized creature and a larger dose can kill even a giant predator (for example, if the chameleon slug-girl is swallowed). Because of this, chameleon slug-girls have few natural predators, save those that are specifically immune to poisons. Over time, Felecia has learned that she can control both the amount and toxicity of her slime. Around the homestead where she lives, she reduces both to an absolute minimum in order to avoid harming any of the other inhabitants. As a result, she has developed an odd, humping gait that allows her to move about without leaving a slime trail.
Felecia is linked with the ancient dryad of the Howling Forest, Stephandra. This link is quiet powerful; she has commented that she can even sense the other dryads from time to time, though that should not be possible. David shares a faint version of this link with Felecia, though he was only made aware of this after being informed by Stephandra. Through the years, Felecia's kindness and compassion has begun to mellow the otherwise ill-tempered dryad (even Quincy admits this to be the case). Felecia herself seems to have a calming influence on those around her. David has noted this on several occasions, but no one has an explanation for it.
Felecia is a vegetarian. Her diet consists solely of the bountiful vegetables and fruits from the homestead's many gardens and orchards. Her favorite food is a special melon cultivated by David that grows only within the homestead. The tomthumbs will often stop what they are doing to watch Felecia when she eats one. She likes to put on a show, choosing the largest melon in the patch and taking her time to show off her incredible elasticity by swallowing it whole. She then lets the tomthumbs rub her noisy tummy - claiming it helps with digestion.
After working hard, tending her flowers, gardens, and orchards, Felecia enjoys soaking in the lower pond for hours on end. David has joked that her ancestors must have been water slugs. Early on in their relationship, David taught her to read and write. One of her favorite pastimes is reading, especially romance novels. Her favorite tale is Taste the Golden Naga, a story about a lascivious naga and her many seductions. Felecia also keeps a diary, which she writes in almost every day. Lately, she has begun reading excerpts from her diary to Serimela.
A special mention must be made about alcohol and its effects on Felecia: in short, she can't hold her liquor. At all. Small quantities cause her to lapse into a dazed state. Even smelling strong alcohol can cause this to happen, albeit to a lesser extent. When in this state, she salivates constantly, becomes very affectionate (even towards plants and inanimate objects), and loves to taste things (especially small, squirming things). This was discovered after David distilled some old fashioned moonshine for the tinies to drink. On a dare from Quincy, she drank some of the foul smelling spirits. What followed was either the funniest (according to Ronaldo), most embarrassing (according to Felecia), or strangest (according to Quincy) few moments in the Vorchek homestead. Felecia promptly grabbed Quincy up and began licking him, eventually placing him entirely in her mouth, slurping him as if he were a tasty melon. The tomthumbs present began cheering her on, thinking it some kind of game. When David returned, he had a difficult time persuading her to spit the exhausted tomthumb out. Just after she did so, much to the continued amusement of the tomthumbs, she tackled her husband and began licking, hugging, and rubbing him passionately. The next day, a recovered Felecia, acting as queen of the tomthumbs, laid down a new rule: alcohol was strictly prohibited in the homestead!
Felecia was introduced in All Is Not As It Seems and plays a significant role in The Belly Of The Beast. She appears in several other stories as well.

Females really aren't my thing, but I have to say arseniquez did one hell of a job on the detail.

Yep, he did at that.

So, this is the slug-girl beauty that was in "The Belly of the Beast." She's definitely beautiful. Her man David sure is lucky, ain't he?

I'm glad you like the commission! Yeppers, that is Felecia. And yeah, David is extremely lucky. So are the tomthumbs who call her queen.

A vegetarian slug-girl in Felarya who loves romance novels, no less! As for the rest, some things are best left to the imagination. *wink*

He does the most amazing colorings I've ever seen. I can't even begin to imagine how long this must have taken to complete. It looks like it would have taken weeks. Each flower, each blade of grass, the entire background, all fully detailed. It's just beautiful.

Yep, he does at that. You should check out his gallery for more of the same. I'm not sure how long this took, as he was rotating through several commissions at once. A great deal of time was spent on revisions I requested.
