I dunno, something about the thought of a character who sits around using dicks to fish for a mermaid seemed like just the kind of bizarre fantasy situation that would drive you to comment. That wasn't the original point, but yes, somewhere between posting it and today, I went "Yeah, that story's Spiderbone bait."
