For me, they are directly absorbing every object that "falls" between them, in a "blob-like" way (objects sinks through her skin and then are rapidly assimilated by the ravenous boobs tissues)...

So a person could touch/hold them, as long as they don't let any part of their body go between them?
Also, its a good thing they don't seem to want to eat their owner(say, when shes taking a bath and has to was between them) or things would get crazy, lol.
