This was a painful picture to do. I felt like I was behind the 8 ball from the get-go since I had to start the picture from scratch, and I felt like a lot of people had some strong feelings about what the ending should be like. And so this is what we end up with.
I can't say I'm really happy with it. I think it tells the story I had in mind, but visually, it's kind of bleh to me. I think it's mostly because I'm very tired of working on this series. Please, please do not ask me to do alternate endings for this story. It's time for me to move on to something new and different.
Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed this look at plant vore. I wanted to show the entire end-to-end process and make it a complete experience. Please feel free to comment if you have any thoughts about the series.

Great job on the comic!
I figure it was a tough job, but I say you did a great job.

Thanks! I'm glad someone likes this picture, because I am totally over it, lol.

I think it turned out quite nice. Poor girl, but at least she'll now contribute to the plant's health. ^^

Poor girl, but lucky plant :)

Never really been a fan of digestion, but it is important to do once and awhile, as it is usually the supposed outcome of any of these. :P
I do love the idea you have of this, how the bulb fills with the enzymes, it slowly works at what's inside til it's eventually gone, the plant sucks up the fluids again, and leaves clean water in it's place with the last remnant left behind. It's a very interesting idea, and drawn very very well. :)

Thank you for the feedback - I was worried I was trying to fit too much into one page, but I'm glad it didn't turn out to be confusing as to what was going on.

I wish this part had a story too!

I was considering doing a final part of the story for this, but I was in a bad mood and didn't really want to do any writing. More importantly, though, I'm not sure if a story would add a lot to this picture. I might change my mind later, though.

In Deep darkest Africa Plant pick you....
Great comic mate - though I'm not normal into digestion you did it tasteful :)

Thanks - It was a challenge to draw, and I wasn't sure how people would react to it.

Everyone is different - over all I liked it and you still kept the crazy 3D effects with you colouring :D

My VERY nice comic....very nice indeed....that plant has good tastes too if I might say;)

Oh yes, just like a pitcher plant. =D
The painfulness was definitely not lost D.W. and came through in nice form, especially in the third frame and into the forth when the digestive fluid is dissolving her down layer by layer.
Chemical burns are just excruciating (if she was still alive at that point). ={
This was a fine comic D.W. – can’t wait to see what you got in store for your next one. (^o^)

I was hoping the second frame would let viewers imagine that she had drowned in the fluids before she'd be subjected to the agonizing digestion process. As always, thank you for the feedback!

Of course, I thought that's what the 2nd frame was implying, I just wasn't sure.
Thanks for the clarification D.W., glad to know that her death was merciful. =)

I can share your feelings of uneasiness with this picture. Blood is usually a big turn off.
On the other hand, I've found avoiding it by eschewing the internal view altogether and showing the bulge from the outside soften is hot as hell.

I find that in most cases, it's not really necessary to go into detail when it comes to digestion. Like you said, often it's enough to just show the exterior bulge, and let the viewer imagine the rest. However, I think if it's done well, and fits the story, a detailed digestion scene can be very powerful.

Digestion is always a difficult thing to do, in drawing or writing (for most, at least), without getting positively gory. I think you did a wonderful job showing the process without going overboard with unnecessary, and overly unsettling, details. ^.^

I do like gore, including hard vore. I guess the problem is that I haven't found a comfort zone where I can draw graphic gore while keeping the artwork interesting.
By the way, I enjoyed you "Royal Nightgown Plant" sequence. I liked the approach you went with, which retains a high level of the macabre (a good thing) without need to get too graphic.

Thank you. ^.^ I'm not too into gore myself, but I find that it sometimes can't be escaped.

Yeah this page wasn't really necessary plus I think I speak for the half of us who actually like staying away from death, when I say that this is kind of disgusting.

A flawless series
