While usually an elusive and timid creature, the common Desert Python is known for both its appetite and tenacity when it comes to hunting down its prey...
Equipped with effective natural camouflage, sharp infrared eyesight and overwhelming strength, once this species of python has its sights set on potential prey, it's practically guaranteed to result in a successful and satisfying hunt.
Here we see a Desert Python napping in the sun after enjoying a meal, with an unfortunate human victim stuffed inside its gut, still squirming and writhing in a vain attempt to wriggle back up out of the snake's throat.
Over the course of the next few months, the victim's curvaceous body will be digested down into a creamy pulp, absorbed by the snake for nutrition, as well as for adequate hydration. Until then, she has no choice but to enjoy the tight, warm and moist, vacuum-packed surroundings that envelop every bit of her being~ ♥
Artist's notes:
Like some of my other recent uploads, I drew this lineart with both pencil and ballpoint pen, and I must say I'm pleased with how neatly it came out :) I don't exactly have a steady hand for the most part, and the fact that I didn't have to edit the lines in Photoshop at all was a nice little change in pace.
What I'm most pleased about, is that unlike all my previous works, in this pic I played with proper blending techniques :D Usually I just used a large brush with 0% hardness and low Flow to shade and otherwise color my pics, which resulted in multiple layers and a very large .PSD file at the end of the day.
But this time, after thoroughly reading up on, and watching YouTube videos on the subject, The snake's color (apart from the camouflage pattern) is all on it's own layer! d^ o ^b
This may seem like a trivial victory for you more talented and technically-savvy artists reading this, but it's a first for me =P And I love by how much it has sped up my process, and how much more natural it makes the colors feel. It doesn't look so darn digital, and almost distractingly neat this time... at least to me X3
On another technical note, I realize that the proportioning and anatomy of the victim aren't spot-on, and I didn't really account for the snake having a spinal column or skeletal structure to begin with X'3 At least the blending came out ok~
But anyway, what do you think? :D As always, I'd love to hear your opinion! ^ u ^b Please feel welcome to comment, and have a nice day!
(Oh yeah, the name at the bottom-left is my new one over on deviantArt :3 What do you think?)

Heeee, thank you so much! ^ u ^ Though only after finishing the lineart and scanning it, I realized dat ass looked remarkably similar to this pic: http://aryion.com/g4/view/237121
Guess I'm a little too used to drawing at specific angles, I'll be working to fix that =P

That is a beautiful female specimen right there! Although she seems to be lacking in the chest area haha :p
I hope that she can still breathe, that way she can feel herself being digested :3 Love your artwork! Keep it up! ;)

Thank you very much C: And while I like to think she can still breathe somehow, it really doesn't seem likely ;ω; But the way I imagine it, she indeed will get to experience the pleasure in being assimilated into her powerful predator's body~ ^ . ^

You live! *chuckles*
I have to say, you did a really great job. Your work is always very good, but you've seem to outdo yourself here. Kudos, man, kudos. Such a lovely meal in her proper place, and such a happy reptile, too.

That I do! Thank you so much ^ u ^ And while I think it's best when both the Predator and Prey are evidently enjoying themselves, at least we're sure that the snake's happy in this case <3

Brilliant stuff Scaly-bruv', I can always appreciate the special qualities that pencil and pen can impart to an image ^o^<3

^ 3 ^ Thankings very much! That natural, yet rugged look (that you do exceptionally well yourself, mind) is something I still strive to master one day :D

Looks like a pretty tight fit in there. X3

That it sure is <3 I usually like to imagine the inside of worms or snakes having a similar effect that a latex vacuum-bed would have on the prey's figure :D

I love it! A shame you don't upload art more often, you're my favorite artist!

>//u//> I'm so stoked, and honored to be your favourite.
For the past few months I've been feeling quite motivated, so I should upload at least a few more pics in the near future. My problem is that I'm still very much refining my artistic technique, so every drawing is still very experimental to me.
Just gotta settle for a style I like the most, so I can just keep drawing. That's my artistic goal right now :)

What I'm most impressed with here is the degree to which you've improved your technique as regards drawing snake heads since "Transparent Python".

:D Thanks so much, I'm glad you noticed that. I made an effort to pay attention to the structure of a python's head for this pic. And while it's nowhere near perfect, it's at least a step in the right direction =3
