I find myself thinking a lot about Maxi off and on. I still see their work shared around in servers and DMs and it always makes me think of them. They were one of the first people I followed here after making an account here and I recall chatting with them a good number of times back more than a decade ago now. They always made me smile, they were some of the first time I traded art with and were so excited over it.

I realize now I actually admire Maxi a decent bit. While I was still dealing with latent shame over liking and drawing such weird drawings they were always chipper and happily friendly with folks, even while drawing some wild fetish art. I can't really recall any significant time they were ever cynical, pessimistic or even dismissive of people or the kind of content here, despite how easy it would be to pass off kinks as something to keep hidden away and out of sight.

I've come to learn in the decades that its not the kinks or endless types of vore or niche fetishes you find hot that can show you anything about yourself, its when you're in an intimately honest and vulnerable part of yourself that you can learn who you are.

Its one thing to just slip in fetish art and keep away from it all. But Maxi always struck me as the type to be proud and cheering too.

Its easy to dismiss it as weird or frivolous or even disturbing, yet I never thought drawing vore would eventually lead me down a path to actually finding meaningful parts about myself and leading me to be happier and comfortable in my own body.

I wish we could have chatted more.

Oh... This artist is very special to me. The great artwork, this style that I'll always recognize and the Incredible stories they were able to tell and the memories and the place of my mind then.

I found Scaylid00d very early in my exploration of my newly found fetish (vore). They were one of the first (and one of the best) people I knew I could rely on good work. While I'm not at all a fan of BDSM and cooking fetishes, just the way they draw is just- mwah! Love almost all of these.

It's sad to realize that they probably won't ever come back. Whether they perished in the earthquake or simply quit drawing I doubt we'll ever see them again. And many people who ate introduced to vore may never see Scaylid00d's work.
