Sometimes you go hunting on a beach and you find prey conveniently sized to swallow. Other times the only prospect is an entire walrus so massive your fur stretches thin as you work to get it down. The life of a giant otter is sometimes a struggle, but at least you (usually) end up on the outside in these situations. 83

Only very rarely do I draw skin showing through fur. It's been years since I tried and it didn't turn out very well. It'd have worked better with darker belly fur. The sheath bulge happened because otters have a very prominent penis bone and I couldn't just bend the sheath around the bulge; it ended up looking like a hard-on. I'll probably edit it out tomorrow so I'll have a version for DeviantArt.

Hmm, though you might not like them, I like the way you portrayed the skin, the genitalia isn't that shabby either.

Stretched fur must be a pain to draw, but i love the bulges here regardless :3 I guess he will be left with some serious layers of fat afterwards.
