The boa descended from what seemed like nowhere, its considerable bulk knocking the breath from the hapless ram it had set is sights upon. Like a sprung trap, it coiled suddenly around him, jaws like a vice upon his shoulder. Wren thrashed with all his might, nostrils flaring and fists clenching. He was no weakling, yet he posed only the most pitiable of resistance to the sinewy coils of the hungry serpent.
Its uncaring eyes gleamed brightly as it eyed its meal, deciding how to start. It then walked its muzzle around its prey's collarbone, holding his head in place so that his horns were of no consequence, and with a mighty shove of its lower coils, Wren's head was pressed into the snake's throat, the first step into dank, dark, tightness.
Wren gritted his teeth, suppressing the ovine bleat that threatened to escape his lips. He would not submit so fearfully! But, it didn't stop his flawless body from quickly being claimed by that maddeningly persistent maw. The ram shuddered as his bare flesh began to slide through the slimy clinging passages of his adversary's innards. Every so often he let forth a powerful kick that resulted in a flat yet satisfying thud against the snake's sides but it seemed entirely unperturbed by the impact.
The ram's streamlined body was one of the easiest meals the boa could have possibly scored. Once his chest was gone, the rest of him was slurped inside with frightening ease, the massive snake head closing with a great yawn over Wren's flexing toes. But he was not yet discouraged. Perhaps he could do more damage inside? Perhaps once the dread peristalsis lost its grip...
Becoming quite disoriented, Wren wasn't sure of the exact moment he stopped moving but he realized his toes were finally gaining purchase against a fleshy wall... and that a sludgy substance was beginning to gather around him. To his dismay, while he himself had stopped moving, the chamber around him had become quite active. He had just enough room to pound his fists into the ceiling, but it was as good as punching a mud puddle. He was rewarded with a deluge of cloying, muculent fluid pouring onto his face, making his eyes and gums itch. Unmoved by his plight, the incredible organ continued to stifle his mobility, tightening around him and remorselessly absorbing the ram's strength as he spent it with each futile strike and squirm.
Before long, the boa's belly had worked itself into a slow yet effective device for deconstructing its occupant, squirting liquids that seeped eagerly into the ram's flesh, softening it and preparing it for what was to come. Confronted with the horror that he could be nothing but mere mush within hours... even Wren had his limits. He was hopelessly stuck. His limp, weakened body was being worked over, submitting to the flow and processes of the digestive chamber like a piece of flotsam in the sea. Truly he was now at the mercy of the beasts' immense inner power. Wren whimpered pathetically, but there was no one to hear him now...
Through all this, the constrictor which had made him its meal remained oblivious to the drama occurring within it. The insistent hunger at the core of its reptilian being had finally settled down to the merest of murmurs for now. It acknowledged its nice new ram-shaped bulge and deemed it time to seek a nice warm spot to settle in for the next few days. It was time to rest.

Commission for drazii-na drazii-na ! A little different in tone from my usual fare but still quite enjoyable to write and draw :) Trying to get a little better at drawing realistic snakes. I learned a little bit about drawing sheep too!
