The story of the young dragoness Aurora as she encounters a very delightful human hunter.
^.=.^ So excited. This is a collaboration with the magnificent Sprout https://www.furaffinity.net/user/sprout/
My first collaboration, so I hope you all like it. ^.=.^ one of my more adult pieces too, but blame the little draggy
Sprout's part of the collab, and the thumbnail pic (which I'm not sure is working properly...) found here https://www.furaffinity.net/view/15997414/

Great story...the picture is amazing.... Aurora is a beautiful dragoness, none the less like Videra in a way ^.=.^

I'm unsure if there will be a sequel, we'll see

A very touching romance story between two engaging characters. Sam getting eaten at the end was a little bit of a downer, but it fit in with the concept of the dragon's hardline predator mentality.
Posted by DrakeZephyr 10 years ago Report
Well, I felt it open ^^; and people keep poking for a sequel... maybe he lives... hard to say ^^; I kinda of imagined it being a fit of passion

Would love to read a sequel where Sam lives. This is a wonderful story.
Posted by DrakeZephyr 10 years ago Report
^^ glad you liked it. I have to say, the ratio of people who want their romance to be separate with him surviving in his current self, as opposed to joining with her romantically does surprise me on a vore site
Posted by chakatBombshell 10 years ago Report
They do make a good odd couple of mates and would make a great subject of an ongoing series.

^^; perhaps, though I wrote this piece mainly because it ticked a lot of Sprout's boxes, I'd never planned something longer

Another great story, loved reading it and loved seeing the way these characters interacted, right up to the end at least. Going to have to agree with Littledude on this one, little bit of a downer.
Still, whether it's a sequel or a new work altogether, I can't wait to see more from you.

*sigh* It seems there are remarkable few people who can see the eating in a romantic light. It was meant to be touching not depressing... I even left it open ended against original plans just to try and keep you all happy...
Still, glad you enjoyed the rest of it...

What an amazing story. It was very very touching, especially at the end; the fact that it was left open to the imagination really solidified it as a romantically emotional and well planned piece ^u^
Great job, I can't wait until your next contribution!

^^ I'm glad you found it so

^^ well I'm delighted you enjoyed it so much, heh, and thanks for not laying on more pressure

Great story I must say. But I have to ask, is Sam dead? Did the dragon digest him at the end there? Or what do you have planned?
Posted by DrakeZephyr 10 years ago Report
I left it open deliberately. It was originally going to be digestive end, but seemingly few would find that romantic it seems... so, since I was growing fond of the character anyway, it's an open ending. I couldn't decide which it should be

I believe this is a unique story, one that is different from many that you have written previously. Most humans it seems, get the short end of the deal when it comes to your stories. So, the possibility that a human might actually survive (even if that is left to the reader) leaves me somewhat shocked. This all being said, I would like to see Sam survive and continue to be with Aurora. From a long term view this would make more sense, if she wants to continue having a full stomach and a loving mate. I think that it adds a depressing ending to an otherwise cheerful and happy story.

Well... it's not unique amid my stories for the possibility of survival... but honestly, even if he was digested that wouldn't be intended to be depressing, at all... when I do write of humans being digested in my stories, either it is purely predatory, nature's misfortune upon them, or it is intended to be... near romantic, the whole becoming one concept. I'm honestly shocked how little that vein seems recognised considering the site, and in fact much of the other art on it

WAGH ! She ate him !!
... Well, he's a part of her now. o3o

I like to think what she would do after. She grows to love him and now he's gone then what? Back to everyday lonely life for her no more mate.
Posted by DrakeZephyr 8 years ago Report
Guess they don't see it as gone, but rather, now never going away. Of course, open ending, who knows what happens next

I've noticed lots of people really want a sequel , would be nice but it's always good to keep the fans wanting more that what makes a story good is when you want more of it. Do you ever do httyd vore stories ?
Posted by DrakeZephyr 7 years ago Report
I'd be tempted to give them a sequel, though that would mean deciding how this one ended...
And not really, I don't tend to do a lot of, fanfiction

This was posted 4 years ago so I’m a bit late and it’s been a very long time since I’ve done anything like this on here but I felt the need to say I really really enjoyed this story a lot and dare I say I think this is my favorite one that I’ve read so far. I was reading the comments and noticed you said you left the ending open and I really respect that and appreciate it. I very much like that it can be taken as either he survives this encounter or indeed permanently becomes one with her. I really like the relationship that blossomed with these characters and there’s really just not enough positive things I can say.
Thank you for such a wonderful read. ^^

I'm glad you enjoyed it. It can be a dividing piece.

Is there a possibility of a sequel to this? Because I can definitely see this as an ongoing series. I understand this was a collaboration but is it possible for you to make another story about these two?
Posted by DrakeZephyr 4 years ago Report
I've considered it, though I'm not sure I will. I don't have any ideas that spring out at me. I think it's just too long ago
Posted by Destroyah23 4 years ago Report
Since the ending is kind of ambiguous maybe you could to a branching narrative. One story could be a continuation where he doesn't survive and it follows Aurora dealing with the consequences. Another could be almost a mini-series where he does survive, and what you could do is expand on the world surrounding the story, possibly have Aurora and Sam traveling the world (even have them return to Sam's home to see how people would react).
Posted by DrakeZephyr 4 years ago Report
It's something I'll think about, but unless something grabs me, I'm likely to continue my current story ideas...
Posted by Destroyah23 4 years ago Report
Thanks for considering it anyways, I think a lot of people (including myself) see this story having a lot of potential as a series ( especially the relationship between Aurora and Sam)
