DID YOU REALLY THINK I WAS DONE BEING PERIDOT TRASH?? because if you did then think again motherfucker
after last week's episode revealed that my favorite space dorito was the most teeny-tiny adorable precious little thing in all of existence, this obnoxious and incredibly obvious idea popped into my head, and it became instantly mandatory that I draw it. not just as a picture, but as a whole damn comic, apparently. I don't even DO comics most of the time, so, like, don't expect this to become a regular thing? they take way too long. seriously. my arm hurts now because I drew this.
there are three more pages of this bullshit, so stay tuned for the thrilling and definitely-not-predictable conclusion that absolutely does not involve Citrine getting eaten! nope, no way would I ever draw that. I am a master of surprise. my gallery is chock full of variety. :I

I expected the latest episode to draw something like this outta you. Peridork really is the best adorable caloric corn-chip.
I still think she didn't have full limbs till she regenerated. Other wise, we would have seen her elbow, since her limb enhancer started basically where her wrist on her current body would be lengthwise.

It was literally inevitable. Every time I start to chill out about Peridot even a little bit, the show sucks me back in with something that manages to endear her to me even more. I think I should probably just accept the fact that she's one of my favorite characters ever. ;v;
I'd heard quite a few guesses about how her body worked, and recall having seen the theory that she was tiny and they were just attachments she wore, but I doubted that was actually the case... until it happened, of course. I always liked the idea that they were prosthetic, but that wouldn't have made a whole lot of sense if you consider the way Gems work. Now that the truth has been revealed, though, I really can't say I'm complaining. She's so cute it hurts. ;__;

Hahahahaha, really? I guess I can kinda see it, now that you mention it... but I've always drawn them as being a bit more prominent than the show does, I think. Anyway, glad to offer the clarification! :D

I didn't expect it even though I'd heard of the theory, but now every time I see Peridot I can feel my heart melting. She's so perfect. ;V;

... er, well, before the reveal, anyway. But she is at least 200% more adorable now, without a doubt! And yeah, I'd figure that a lot of my watchers anticipated something like this, knowing how stupidly fangirly I am. Every time there's a new Peridot episode, it feels like I draw something else with her. >v>;

Nah, she's not dead yet! Just... in a bit of a predicament.
And... well, if you're asking my opinion, I personally wouldn't enjoy that-- I don't like Peridot as prey. But if you want to draw it, then do what you want! I'm sorry if you were hoping for me to approve of the idea... but my opinion shouldn't matter if you want to draw something, and I don't want to deter you from having fun.

And hey, you never know! With shrink rays, anything is possible! ... At Peridot and Jasper's normal sizes, though, yeah, it'd be pretty implausible. But I pretty much like Peridot as a predator no matter what, so... I wouldn't complain. ;v;

I do rather enjoy the idea of someone underestimating a smaller character because of their size, and then having that turned against them... making their victim even smaller than they are, so THEY know how it feels for a chance. >v>; (that's what this comic is about, if you couldn't tell.) ... It's kind of cathartic to watch, because I'm short in real life and I hate it. :I

She has been my favorite since day one to be honest. I always loved her design.
