Fairy Tail's 264th episode JUST came out.
I read the manga arc. I knew what was coming, and prepared in advance knowing I would feel the undying need to do something about it.
Needless to say, even though I knew 100% well what was coming...it still really really hurt to watch like you wouldn't believe. Like hoollly shit I was crying it was so sad ;3;
SO YEAH.
ALTERNATE ENDING WHERE ACNOLOGIA GETS DUNKED ON LIKE THE LITTLE PUNK-ASS BITCH HE IS. King of Dragons? Bah. He isn't worthy of that title. He is only worthy of being part of the TRUE dragon king's banquet.
After getting knocked down, before he could get back up and deal more damage, Igneel decides to actually do something about the Black Dragon, even if it's...unconventional.
This was actually pretty fun to do, since I got to mess around with more lighting effects to simulate the nighttime setting the episodes were set in. Also, I'm pretty sure the belly bulge is WAYY innacurate considering Acnologia has huge wings but...screw it, this is close enough to convey what's going on. ;)
And yes, Natsu is in the background, watching his dragondaddy do his thing~

Pretty awesome internal shot with the lighting effects and saliva! I'm tempted to go read/watch it myself to see what happens, but I know I'll be picking FT back up eventually. I've read like... three chapters.

Just wondering something, 'cause I know you know way more about FT than me. Do you think Natsu in the background of this alt ending would be cheering his dad on, yelling "Yeah! That's my dad!" or hanging his head, blushing, and saying "Oh come on, Dad, not like this. You're embarrassing me"? =)

As much as I like Fairy Tail (maybe more than One Piece which gets boring to me these days), I didn't like the explanation why and where were the dragons. But still, nice art work.

I heard talk that the next movie might have something to do with the whole "Trying to keep dragonslayers from becoming dragons" thing - if the whole "dragonize" thing the promos hyped up are to be believed. >3>

Seriously love your style; really shows realistic features while maintaining a subtle cartoon-ish look! The amount of underhang on that gut is just perfect, and the internals are simply amazing.
Can't say I've seen much of Fairy Tale at all, however. You've intrigued me, though!
Wonderful work again, anyways. Your dragons always come out great!

I like it, but at the same time it's sad, because I have an OC named Angel who practices Black Dragon Slaying Magic and Acnologia (AKA the black and blue dragon in this picture) is her grandfather
