You Can Be Protector This Time By Rendezvore -- Report

Rasthes has a Valentine's Day gift for Chorl, the Motherly Dragon. He takes advantage of her surprise to court her with a little lick of his own.

Don't worry, Rasthes wasn't late with his gift. I just didn't get around to coming up with the idea until now. ;)

The title is a really old thing between me and my friends. There was this children's role playing game that had a heart-shaped box as a major prop that held the other smaller props. The Protector person carried the Heart Box, and since everyone wanted to carry it there was many a battle to decide who would be Protector before we even started a damn game. Rasthes is being a good sport (unlike my bratty friends) and letting Chorl have a turn with the Heart Box. Though I don't think she'll do all that well at being Protector.. at least, not for very long.

EDIT: Cleaned up a few details. Refreshing the page will show the human girls inside the box now, instead of a bunch of squiggles. XD

M'awwwww that is rather cute ^.=.^! It looks like their relationship has not begun yet! On my side, I simply made a wedding ask drawing, eheheh >w<!

I have always difficulties at drawing dragon 'fingers', I find yours well done! And the male's horns, with a dichotomic extremity, i like it ^^!

Chorl has been overall accepting of his wooing, but she still sometimes finds his behavior odd and unbecoming for dragons at their age. :O

A wedding ask? A marriage proposal?

Thanks, thick hands are pretty difficult. Blehh.

I almost went with a broken horn, but I didn't like the designs. Now he has fireplace pokers. XD

Ah yeah, you are the first one who corrects me, marriage proposal yeah ^.=.^". Well, if you had a look on my gallery, you guessed what I mean >w<.

Unbecoming at their age? Are they too young in her opinion X3? There is no age about receiving an heart-shaped box ^w^! Sound like a really game you are talking about in your description...

It is a good horn design for me, nice comparison *thumb up*

Sorry, don't mean to be rude. I just analyze things a lot. Can be a bit of a walking dictionary and encyclopedia at times..

No, actually they're both very old dragons and have had previous mates that have long-since passed on. Much like birds, it is very unusual for their species to take another mate. She thinks he is being silly. :P

The children's game? It was a LARP (live action role play) setting called "Tales of the Crystals" and I still own it and occasionally host sessions for the kids around my apartments. It had a very short distribution run and is extremely hard to find a physical copy. However, if you want to just listen to the adventure stories from the audio cassettes, they're all still damn cute as hell:

Oh no, you are not, I am more annoyed about the fact it is only now someone thought about correcting me X3!

So they are both widow, if I understand well? Ahah, I am really tempted to let out what I have learned at my Eco-ethology lecture, but when I do such a thing, I am probably boring ">w<... In any cases, Poor Rasthes eheheh x3!

Oohhh so that kind of game.. Unfortunately, I never had a chance to try one of these in my childhood, for reasons I will spare you the explanation, ahah!

Anyway, may you find the strength to post your art more often ^.=.^!
