This is the fourth chapter in the series.

As with the previous chapters, this is set in the Star Wars Expanded Universe canon. I've drawn from that canon for background, and for the chronology of events in the galaxy. For those of you who want to keep track, we're now in the year 12 ABY. The character of Gilad Pellaeon was first created by Timothy Zahn, was developed by a number of other writers, and belongs to that Expanded Universe canon. As does the world of Orinda. Talana's homeworld of Alven Prime, though, is my own creation.
