A while ago I asked you all, dear readers, two questions. Which predator character should Eshel meet and taunt next? And should she skip away merrily at the end, feeling pleased with herself, or should she be gobbled up?
This is the result which a majority of you voted for. (It was quite close!)
As a reminder, we previously saw Eshel in stories 125 and 162.

Well, Eshel took that rather well. I'm always happy whenever Jora gets to eat.

Eshel probably knew this day would come. It doesn't stop her from feeling scared… but she was sort of prepared for it. And she takes being delicious as a compliment!
Yes, poor Jora needs all the food she can find. It was my pleasure to write her having a full tummy, for once. ;)

I dont normally like felarya stories but this one was quite good. You created aome real suspense regarding what were the cat girl 's motivations and whether or not the prey would be caught. Lovely work!

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it, even in this setting. In the previous story, of course, she got away, after having got a predator all hungry and worked up...

Thanks. I actually wrote this one a few weeks ago, but held it back until I'd finished story 171, for chronological consistency.

I'm not sure she's able to appreciate the irony. She'd never heard of Jora and her reputation for clumsiness before. ;)
