How to Play: Read the comic and then choose in the strawpoll link below what Tanya should do next.

Make sure to pay attention to Tanya's Stats. Charm determines how easily Tanya can sway others and cause them to do her bidding through seduction or other means. Stomach shows how hungry she is. If her meter gets too low, the quest may be railroaded, or Tanya doing something opposite of what the majority of people voted for. Vigor is vital for Tanya to do certain tasks that may require more effort than normal. Vigor can be seen as a combination of energy and mood.

There are also Current Sounds to keep in mind. Tanya is a rabbit with large ears! This means she uses her hearing almost constantly to remain aware of her surroundings. Current sounds can give a hint as to whether you should be careful in a specific situation or can do activities freely.

I'm looking for a lot of participation with this quest, so please chip in! If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Wow, can't believe those vote results. I swear, probably once that net is burned through inside her, Tanya's probably gonna feel a sharp pain and then end up collapsing or something.

Felicekitty

Posted by Felicekitty 7 years ago Report

yep they got what they wanted... I know endless chances but still....

Kila

Posted by Kila 7 years ago Report

Indeed, to do something like this now. I mean maybe if there hadn't been hissing, panicked breathing among other things. Now we got screaming deep hissing and the same panicked breath

Felicekitty

Posted by Felicekitty 7 years ago Report

I don't get it... And I probably won't get it...

Felicekitty

Posted by Felicekitty 7 years ago Report

I like vore as much as the next, well apparently I don't cause there's a time and place to do something, and this wasn't one of them....

Kila

Posted by Kila 7 years ago Report

That's what i'm saying. They have more important things to be doing than just having her eat a snake that could really cause some damage once that net is burned the rest of the way through by stomach acids.

Vulgun

Posted by Vulgun 7 years ago Report

I hope those vore lovers are happy now. My suspicions were right, it was a venomous snake. And what's worse, it's going to kill her, I know it!

thelazyknight

Why are you so angry? Calm down.

Themastermushroom

Calm down, let's see how is going, but just chill out...ok?

Venomous doesn't mean poisonous

eraserman88

I think y'all need to calm down, it's not the end of the world that she ate a snake

Felicekitty

Posted by Felicekitty 7 years ago Report

She ate a snake in a time she could of been checking on Kuva who might already be coiled or bitten by Java or worse since she's screaming

Felicekitty

Posted by Felicekitty 7 years ago Report

And it's venomous

Pf, there is no reason to vote any more. Those voters are always ruin everything!

There is a constant struggle in feeding 5he masses comrade. No need to downtalk others. Though you have mettle in being outspoken, this I commend.

Perhaps a potentially dangerous outcome... however it has been done. Continue onwards now there is work to be done.

I've seen a lot of interactive on Ekas and FA. The comment section of this one has to be the most routinely negative I've seen: With every update lately there's a lot complaining, blaming, and aggression in the comment section over the voting direction.

I guess that means people are really involved/attached to it. But still. I hope it doesn't deter you Fidchell. It's a great comic and I love what you've done with it; and I think most others in the community would agree.

FidchellVore

Posted by FidchellVore 7 years ago Report

Thank you for the kind words~ I'm not deterred. I'll still see this quest through, but I'm considering going back to just comments rather than voting.

Felicekitty

Posted by Felicekitty 7 years ago Report

Yeah I don't want to take anything away from your art Fidchell it's amazing, and I love the comic. but the reason I'm and I hope others are so being so passionate speaking it is because Tanya is an amazing character. She's intelligent and strategic, and these choices to me at least seem to be hurting her integrity... Making her do things she wouldn't do or at least what I don't think she would do. Maybe I have this all wrong but,. I hope others would will eventually realize that, but I'll keep supporting this no matter what the outcome ^_^

JiklokEmisaryOfSteel

Posted by JiklokEmisaryOfSteel 7 years ago Report

Thine only reason I can say to reverting to comments only is this. Some voices won't be able to lend their opinions because they wish to not create an account. Tiss the only negative I can find but still something to weigh on.

DragonOverlord

Posted by DragonOverlord 7 years ago Report

That and when we voted on actions by comment the comment section was even more of a mess. It took forever to scroll through to find if someone else had already made a suggestion you would like to make and even if your suggestion could potentially lead to the best case scenario people will still insist the impulsive option like what just happened here.

The only thing it would really change is making the comments section impossible to navigate again.

What we need up in here and people who are strong voices of reason thorough thinking through the options and making sure to comment with good constructive advice before the vast majority can vote. Even so that won't stop the impulsive and shortsighted.

This is why if I was around at the time Fidchell was asking if he should make the quest comic I would have not advise it.

Because if one thing I learned about porn and story, they rarely mush well and it can often cause a divide in the audience. It is especially worse with something that works like a game (and even more so when people were and are under the impression that a wrong choice means game over and the story will just be abandoned).

Thankfully, the readers have not tried tearing each other apart in the comments. Well, not as bad as other places I've seen.

Luckily, venomous =/= poisonous. :D

slyfoxxl

More people need to realize this point...

JiklokEmisaryOfSteel

Posted by JiklokEmisaryOfSteel 7 years ago Report

Venom is mostly used to disable however. What won't outright kill can hinder comrade.

Felicekitty

Posted by Felicekitty 7 years ago Report

Especially if we are fighting Java we don't want to suddenly fall over in pain

JiklokEmisaryOfSteel

Posted by JiklokEmisaryOfSteel 7 years ago Report

It could be harmless, it could be fatal. We shant know until the next glimps in her journey.

Aces

Posted by Aces 7 years ago Report

I don't think you understand the difference between venom and poison.

JiklokEmisaryOfSteel

Posted by JiklokEmisaryOfSteel 7 years ago Report

Poison can be eaten or introduced in the bloodstream. Venom has to be injected. Tanya made no attempts to remove the possibility of the snake biting her from the inside.

FidchellVore

Posted by FidchellVore 7 years ago Report

She doesn't have to. The thick sludge will prevent it from doing such effectively.

Tira

Posted by Tira 7 years ago Report

So... Jabaro is barely helpful now, plus we just ate possibly-pet snake of our dangerous target and we run straight towards that target. Well... bunnies are delicious after all >.>

Hoodoo

Posted by Hoodoo 7 years ago Report

The author has already said the story doesn't end if we die. Jeez. Calm down, everyone. If we fuck up the story just resets to where we fucked up.

Russ

Posted by Russ 7 years ago Report

For folks getting mad or upset at how the choice has gone please calm down.

I understand that ye are here more for the story and choice choosing than maybe for the vore, but remember, the other folks made a fair vote too. And either choices could've had some unique consequences of their own.

But remember, this is more or less a game type of story comic. We will reset upon death to the last choice. Hell, maybe Fidchell will make this into more of a solo interactive comic choice thing after finishing the quest through.

Now, instead of getting annoyed at how a choice went, instead we must make the best of what we got. So let's discuss what options sound best here.

Dude you are so right.

Russ

Posted by Russ 7 years ago Report

Well I got to help Fid somehow.

These types of projects I would not advise due to how more control audience has, the worse a brief misunderstanding or not that well telegraphed hints can lead to pretty bad backlash. It gets even worse given that the audience will be like ten playing trying to play one RPG game or Until Dawn. Regardless of what method of choice Fid gives, there will still likely be arguing or nasty comments.

But anyway, our choices here are pretty tough to make a call on.

Hiding can save our skins, but likely doom Jabaro and Kuva if they or us don't move quick enough, and then maybe us too if we strike at the wrong time or else Java smells us.

Trying to shake Jabaro out of it may lead to Kuva getting eaten and us wasting time, but will allow us to formulate a plan and will make fighting Java easier.

Going out on our own may lead us to get the drop on Java if done right and get Kuva to help in the fight. Or we could end up too late still and be fighting Java on our own unless Jabaro comes fast enough.

Eating the snake may provide us an advantage, if Java smells it off of us and sees a wiggling belly on Tayna and then has the same reaction as Jabaro, it could aid in easily decapitating or eating her.

Hmm, not sure which I would go for. Going out on our own doesn't sit with me though.

mayeram

Posted by mayeram 7 years ago Report

Yeah there is not a truly bad or good option in the list.

Running toward the shriek is more likely to allow you to assist Kuva or at least witness how the enemy fights in order to better formulate a plan of attack.
At best watching you charging forward may rally Jabaro from his shock and allow the three of you to confront the enemy together. At worst you may be charging alone toward a predator that has already finished off Kuva.

Hiding someplace near may be a good option though the snake may be able to detect something like body heat depending on how it works. If Jabaro is truly unable to recover and has become useless he may be better as a distraction for the enemy. If Tanya hides alone and the enemy attacks Jabaro, she will again be able to see how the enemy attacks and she may be able to ambush the enemy as it attacks Jabaro. Tanya's sword looks like it could kill even most large things with one blow. The downside is that you would be pretty much giving up on Kuva and Jabaro meaning the loss of two thirds of your fighting strength should the ambush fail. If hiding really means hiding like a terrified little rabbit, it is clearly the worst option.

I see trying to snap Jabaro out of it as the compromise of the other two options. You would stay with Jabaro, and odds are probably somewhat better that Jabaro will recover, but you will more than likely be giving up on Kuva.

I think I favor hiding and letting Jabaro be bait, as numerical superiority has shown to not mean much against this thing in the past. If we can decapitate or slice it in half while it is distracted by Jabaro we will not have to worry about its mind control.

mayeram

Posted by mayeram 7 years ago Report

Think of the mage, thief, fighter triangle. The primary weapon that the enemy has shown so far is magic (mind control). Approaching this like a thief and ambushing the snake would make it difficult for it to mind control you before you killed it. If you took the fighter approach it would have all the time it needed to mind control you. That said if Kuva is screaming I would guess it hasn't mind controlled her yet.

Russ

Posted by Russ 7 years ago Report

I say the mind control is based on hypnosis, so maybe she needs enemies to gaze into her eyes or some unique pattern on her body maybe.

Also, I have thought of the idea that maybe Java is using Kuva as bait, but that might be overthinking it.

Russ

Posted by Russ 7 years ago Report

And that is leaving out the fact that Tayna has bruised ribs which is how Kuva got the best of us when the net option failed on page 21.

Hence why hiding could work and it may lead to no-one getting killed if we're fast enough before digestion sets in, one mistake however due to injuries, that snake in the stomach, some other tricks Java has up her skirt or the sword being too slow to use and we're quite possibly have to reset again from the last choice.

Wolfknight130

Posted by Wolfknight130 7 years ago Report

I say she grabs his hand and runs int he direction of the scream.

DragonOverlord

Posted by DragonOverlord 7 years ago Report

I honestly think we should continue to snap Jabaro out of it. He'll be more useful when her coherent, and if Kuva is already caught the best case scarily is we find her just in time to see her sliding down out enemy's throat (I'm assuming given the time we've already wasted, and I've been wrong before). Either that or she's already tangled up in the snake's coils or something like that. Also, if we actually save Kuva she'll have a lot more reason to drop that attitude she has with us. Given that last sentence I realize I may be just a bit biased.

I sincerely doubt hiding will help in any way. The snake is probably adapt at tracking and may manage to sneak up on us.

I don't think I need to make an argument for the remains in option since everyone has already come to all the logical conclusions on that one. In regards to this and my first argument, I can only wonder how useful Jabaro would even be if we calmed him down just to shove him in front of his greatest fear.

PS I'm beginning to think we should have left Jabaro behind and just went with Kuva. Too late for that though, so I suppose this is just a passive aggressive way of bitching about my choice not winning a few pages back. :P
