Yepp, but I really need/want to do belly gurgling/kicking/sloshing animations in the future ! Hell, even digestion, but that's much more work :p

Yeah I hear you there. Though I thought sleep-digestion would be easier since the pred doesn't need to move that much, so you'd just have the receding belly.

I've lost count on all my started, but abandoned, animations...so many ideas...so very complicated to do...

Yeah, I don't really try to animate often and I already have quite a few like that x) But yeah I was thinking of something simple like that as well~

:3 I tried to go with a watercolor-like take on the BG, although I don't know how to do that well, so it ended up just "washed" but I still like it. It serves the purpose I intended: To give focus to the main subject. :)
