Wow. This one really comes together so well. I love the overall concept, and the dialogue is a lot of fun. LOL at the badger's little tongue stuck out at the end.

I don't think calling for help is going to do him any good. At worst, people may look down the hole and think 'oh wow, a talking badger'.

Or they find out how tight it is inside a badger's stomach with two people packed in there.

I saw a show about sinkholes that mentioned some Spanish town with so many that men working the fields strapped sticks across their shoulders to keep from disappearing into holes. If this guy had thought of that he might not have ended up with a badger fur coat. 83
