Velida and Lady Ironbark delve into the secret entrance to find the Maniac Alchemist, John Svard, and to save their companion, the Drider Brinda. What is waiting for them down there? Is she still alive?

Ok! This one was a fun one to write. Lots of action. Intense stuff, I think! I hope this one has you on the edge of your seat if the others haven't!

Chapter 6 is a slower chapter, and I'm not happy with it at the moment, but it's still more or less complete. I'm too excited to get this one out there for all of you to read, so I can deem it 'complete' for my own silly system.

Now princess Wolverine can tease Ironbark for being a snack cake! Fun times!

I get the feeling Brinda got a little attached to the wee princess for coming to her rescue. I wonder if she plans to "repay" her for her kind consideration~

Ok, seeing how Marcus never appeared in this chapter I can only assume he must have been captured or killed on the road... neither of these would exonerate him for his cowardice. (I'ma little to white knight-ish to forgive ditching little sisters)

Heh, All I'm going to say about Marcus is that he isn't dead, it's one of his only real talents.

As for Brinda, she'll be explained a bit in future chapters For now she'll remain a strange, almost speechless enigma.

And Velida's healing isn't quite Wolverine level. It's certainly much better than human, but it's about comparable to 'Old Man Logan' healing, I would say. She would have absolutely bled out after getting stabbed like she did without help, and severe organ damage would kill her pretty fast, plus no chance she'd regrow limbs on her own, not even fingers. Again, a bit more on this explained later.

Dang. Wasn't expecting to find quality literature on this site. Well played, Arthotus.
