For each prey she consumes, a crystal starts growing. Depending on the person or creature, the crystal color and properties will be different.

After digestion, she'll reach into her stomach (through her stomach because fey bullshit) and take them out, clean them, and sell them in her shop.

Each crystal, typically, has a tiny bit of the prey's soul embedded inside. Though that is mainly for my own amusement. :P
