You mean genetically or storywise? Genetically, they catch up (sort of). But the story doesn't follow them: It follows the character we started with, Dean, as he's transformed.
Okay. This is kind of a classic plot device: in order to really shine, Daisy has to be abandoned by everyone that could help her. Her parents (Jessica and Amy) are too caught up in the entire overarching project to meaningfully intervene. Alicia's turned dark, Belle too interested in maintaining the peace to give her own opinion, and Clarisse (despite the fact that Daisy is biologically younger) is just too young to be useful that way.
(Remember that Alicia, Belle, and Clarisse are Jessica and Amy's "natural" children, that Dean helped conceive by bringing Amy's and Jessica's eggs together. Daisy had a head start as Dean's soul was merged into hers.)

Finally looking back to the beginning in detail.
Jessica and Amy got left behind very quickly, didn't they?
