Who don't ehehehe

I think I prefer the original, tbh, but that's just a question of the colors used for her. In terms of art technique, this one's definitely superior.
Posted by Desire122 7 years ago Report
Thankiu! and yeah! original colors were warmer and more saturated so ya if you prefer warmer colors you prefer the forst one for sure
Posted by empatheticapathy 7 years ago Report
Gotta be that saturation. I'm a sucker for that.
Posted by Desire122 7 years ago Report
I like saturated colors too :D

Clear improvements to your general drawing skills, and example would be that the left hand looks like a hand and not a sock.
Personally I don't like the deflated stomach look, I would prefer a just small round belly, but that is personal preference not anything necessarily bad on the picture

Thanks!!! I thought that it was a good idea to place a deflated belly lol

While I definitely prefer the warmer palette of the first, the definition you're able to get (for example on the belly) with the soft shading is really great.
Posted by Desire122 7 years ago Report
Yeah soft shading require a lot of time but with it you can reach a good definition while cellshading is a lot faster it's really simplistic.
About the color yes i prefer a warmer palette (and saturated in post production) but i wanted to try somerjing colder just for fun.
Anyway Thanks!

While you've definitely improved (I see you're brave enough to draw feet this time around!), I do think that the original drawing is more appealing. As other people have said, the warmer palette is preferable, but aside from that I do think that the shading on the original "blends" better—I noticed the lines of pixels along the shading transitions a lot quicker on this remaster than on the original.
I don't want you to think it's *bad*, because it's totally great artwork! But I do think that sticking with your older techniques has some merit. Overall though, *keep experimenting*. Your goal isn't for every picture to be a homerun—you should instead keep trying out changes and see where they take you. :)

Yeah! i want to try things out :D
