Boy, oh boy. This has been a long time coming. Sorry about that. >.<
For those that don't know, this scenario was the winner of a poll I had back in March.
Lotsa stuff happened, then I expanded the the scope of this project past what I had initially intended... Yadda, yadda... Now we're here.
So, I'm not going to go too much into the background for this right now. I plan on adding color, the same as all my other pieces. I just don't know when I'll get to it. Soon, but I want to work on a few other things.
Full description to come on the colored version.

I don't know about that. Light from the sun has to travel 146 million km to Earth and manage to hit the plant's photoreceptors. The plant then converts the light energy into chemical energy. From there it synthesizes the nutrients it needs for basic functions. For a plant of this size, however, photosynthesis isn't enough to sustain it's life. It needs more food. For that, it uses the nutrients from it's previous meal. If it wishes to feed again, it must bear more fruit to entice the next prey. The process to grow new fruit comes at a high energy cost to the plant, and puts it at risk of starvation. The plant can't move. All it can do is wait. And hope the next meal comes soon.
As for the girl, she just thought she could pick a fruit and move on without a second though. How inconsiderate to the plant, right?

I love the little details here, like the skirt flaring upwards as she slides inwards, and the digestion details.

Thanks! Can't wait to get to the colors. That will really make some of those detail pop. Namely the dissolving clothes.

Glad you like it. Pretty much all of my pieces look similar before getting colored. Perhaps I should upload my line work more often...
