There's a more or less retired praka predator named Fastpaw who was once quite the amoral people-eater, but he mellowed after he got married and got a pardon, so these days he runs an orphanage with his wife. Yes, seriously.

But even today he can't resist taking a shot at any passing kender. Kender are an innocent if naturally kleptomaniacal race and Fastpaw, being a bard, has honed his performance of "There's something stuck in my teeth" to a fine art. The result is he has quite a collection of Kender hoopaks, their racial walking stick/weapon. The scarecrow in his garden is two lashed together, the tomatoes in his garden grow up the things, etc.

And of course the garden is partially fertilized with used-to-be-kender, because when one of them trustingly looks in his mouth to see what's stuck between his back teeth they really do become a "passing" kender. Or one to be passed anyway. 83

Hoopak looks like a long slingshot.

A race of naive kleptomaniacs probably had it coming when it comes to being eaten.

They are completely insufferable. The people who created them had to fall back on the hackneyed "They are so innocent they have the favor of the gods" to explain why they hadn't been wiped out by pretty much everybody. Every time a kender makes its way through Fastpaw's digestive tract the world gets a little better. 83

Man, you're so good at this whole raccoon pred thing. I've actually come to appreciate procyonids more as predators.

I do like drawing raccoons and I've gotten reasonably good at drawing them. 83

I will gladly remove anything stuck in a raccoon's teeth! As a bunny dentist, I won't allow any raccoon to have dental problems <3
