I got into hollow knight and now I'm in love with a bug. ... okay several bugs. ;< you can just have one bug for now and maybe if you're lucky I won't torment you all with more later
the protagonist of this game is unfair levels of cute and also has a cute creepy lil void spirit, which is convenient because they don't have a visible mouth to let me make them eat things with :T but that can't stop me from doing it anyway, I am not so easily deterred god dammit. (they eat souls all game and every new ability pickup is described as 'consumed'... if you expected me to not think that was hot then I'm sorry lol) uh... thanks to Syc for helping me come up with this trash idea and enabling my awful thirst for a tiny bug creature? ... okay maybe I shouldn't thank him because it's not a great thing to thirst after but whoops TOO LATE NOW
oh yeah also Citrine is a bee here. :'> it is still her, it felt weird to leave her as a human in this universe since it would clash horribly with the art style of the game, so I designed a version of her that would fit better! just for this setting, really. it was important that I draw stuff like this even though as usual I'm pretty sure not too many people will like it besides me ;v; I'm sure it's abundantly clear to everyone by now that I like absorption with weird shadow monsters way the fuck too much...

Also, I have no doubt I would have still enjoyed this if Citrine was normal, but the fact that she's an adorable little bee here makes it all the better.
