Methinks a human swimming in the habitat of penguins and leopard seals would be pretty much encased in a thick and indigestible neoprene rubber wetsuit or more likely an even less appetizing drysuit.

They are. The last time one of them ate one it took forever to very slowly digest them through the few gaps in the suit.

That's why I'm thinking the seal might balk at attempting it again. With their high metabolism he is liable to starve before the nutrients start flowing... unless there is also room for some smaller easier to digest prey to keep him going in the meantime.

Well you know, fun is fun. Anyone they catch WILL be wearing some sort of suit but I want the occasional human in their diet, so I'll just handwave the suit issues. They're patient, they have body fat to fall back as they slowly digest their prey. 83
