for my own part, i like Bowsette much more for the concept. i know art that i like when i see it, but my brain can't ignore that that's still a male dragon-turtle under that human princess facade.
Bowsette's better for humor in my opinion ;)

She doesn't look like "male" is her comfortable gender OR sex anymore. Especially given the transgender tag, I don't see this as a facade. This version of the character seems to have embraced themselves differently from how they are usually depicted, and I'm completely cool with that!
Also, even if it were just a temporary magic experiment, I don't care. Bowsette is all of Bowser's usual power and sass, having embraced a much more femme presentation, and I will that combination hot however a particular version IDs long term.

i wasn't trying to get into a philosophical argument, just voicing my own opinion. like i said, i like Bowsette for the scenarios it can bring up rather than just as fetish material :)
