Deciding to give writing a short story to my art. Hopefully I'm not too rusty.

~~~
Gwen smiled to herself as she lounged about, one hand idly rubbing and lightly pressing on her newly pregnant, yet massive, belly. She fondly recalled the events of last night.
Alton was never able to resist a night of fun. He definitely enjoyed a bit of roleplaying as well, but Gwen wasn't playing a role. She was being genuinely truthful about her being a witch, but she wasn't about to protest if Alton didn't believe her.
After a night of passionate lovemaking that left her husband exhausted, Gwen set about the ritual she had intended to do for years. She casted the incantation that would start her husband's trip into her womb.
The unbirthing was surprisingly simple - while the spell was likely the main cause, Alton's exhaustion meant he couldn't put up much of a fight as Gwen pulled him into her intimate depths. The witch happily sighed as her contractions ended, indicating her husband was now entirely 100% hers. The main hurdle of her ritual complete, she quickly drifted off to sleep.
Now it was the next day, and Gwen was just relaxing after a lovely lunch. Her husband seemed to be either asleep, as there was only the occasional, minimal squirm or kick from the rounded swell of her pregnancy.
"Should've believed me when I said I was a witch, darling," Gwen smirked, her hand lightly pushing on her belly. She noted her wedding band still on her hand - she certainly wouldn't need that in about nine months.
The second part of the ritual was already underway - Alton would slowly regress in age until he was the size of a fetus, where he would be birthed naturally, this time as Gwen's new child. However, he would retain his mental state and functions for quite some time until then.
"Well, looks like you and I will have a few months to get to know each other." Gwen figured that Alton at least deserved an explanation whenever he woke up, at least if he behaved himself. Not that Gwen couldn't artificially calm him down with some magic, but she didn't feel like casting magic if she didn't need to.
Gwen shifted a bit, both of the witch's hands now cradling her belly. "I was so determined for years to have a child to continue my family's line of witchcraft, Alton. Not being able to give me a child was a bit of an obstacle, but this is a perfectly acceptable option."
The witch slowly pulled herself up, intending to get a cup of lemon tea. As she walked to the kitchen to get the kettle going, she glanced down at her belly one last time.
"I can't wait for you to wake up, dearie. You and I will have a lot to talk about, my daughter Alizon."
Ooh, nice! That WIP finished up very well, and the short story to go with it is a fun touch. It’s nice to get a bit of an idea about what’s going on.
Here's a thought: maybe you should see if Irate would be fine with you writing out a full length story. I'm sure you could shoot ideas at each other and come up with a few of 'em.
We’ve spent plenty of time shooting ideas at each other already. Whether Groblek wants to do anything with that is his choice, although I was already planning on commissioning some work from him anyway.
As IrateLiterate said, we’re a step ahead of you as far as chatting about ideas goes, DRay. Unfortunately, anything more than that will have to wait until I get a bit more writing time free.
Great use of details, really brings out the depth much more. I think you've done a great job finishing this up!
