Decided to put some more thought and detail into why I like this writing so much.

One of the big things I like is how normal everyone sees this as. IRL, eating any human, let alone your own child, would be nauseating (and unhealthy, ever heard of Kuru?) But here, it's seen as, if not exactly everyday, then commonplace enough that no one questions it.

It gives the sense of a very different sort of mindset. People seem outright proud, or happy for Marinette for being cooked. Adrien is excited to eat her and even asks what sort of wine she'd go best with (this is another interesting cultural thing. Maybe it's a tradition to bring sides or drinks to a girlmeat party, thought of as a gift for the meat?)

Even Marinette at her most reluctant has her pride aroused and proclaiming that she'd be the best soup Adrien ever tasted, and noting that being cooked like this is actually an honor.

It's not just exciting to see the cooking and vore and food porn, but it also gives an insight into the very different mindset that people have in a 'verse where this kind of thing happens normally.

Thanks for that well thought-out comment. And I'm glad to see you're still enjoying this story 2 months after your last comment! Since you took the time to put so much thought into your comment, I'll do the same with my reply.

I really liked writing this, but it was definitely done as an experimental piece. Marinette Soup (the shorter predecessor to this) was meant to basically see if I could have a sexy vore story with no actual snuff or violence taking place on screen; all of it happening in the mind of the reader. To do that I needed a heavy setup that basically built as much anticipation as possible while still having a workable arc that inevitably ended in Marinette's death.

In a superhero setting, peril isn't always going to lead to snuff, so I needed something that would leave no doubt in the audience's mind that Marinette was getting snuffed. That meant that Marinette needed to want to be snuffed.

Ladybug had a method built in to accomplish that with Marinette's crush on Adrien (which leads her to do ridiculous things all the time in the show). Of course, Adrien's actually a sweet, honest and morally upright boy in the show (moreso even than Marinette to be honest), so if he wanted her to be snuffed, then it couldn't be seen as evil or wrong or gross in setting. I wanted to preserve the feeling that it was special and kind of exotic, and without the 'wrongness' that normally creates the taboo I needed something else. That meant going the other way and making it a sort of celebratory event due to its rarity.

I think that all of that combined together to create the atmosphere you enjoy in this story. I think it combined with the attention to detail I put in the food porn to make the meal itself feel special and exciting. Hopefully I can keep that feeling there when I finally finish the sequel.

I do hope to see more of this sort of thing, with the girl in question willingly being the meat (or outright volunteering.) Cook a Fan was nice for this, but I found that I didn't actually like the sexual aspect of it. Hence my comment there about hoping to see more unaroused but willing (or rather, unaroused but still enthusiastic I suppose.)

I always come back to the wine bit for example. As I mentioned above, the idea of people bringing gifts to the snuffed in the form of sides or drinks to go with the main course fascinates me.

On the subject of Marinette, if you do another fic with her, it turns out that people have made bread with ground bone as one of the ingredients, mixed with yeast. Now, IRL, this doesn't really work well because bones don't contain much in the way of nutrients and has some hard to digest bits, but we're already dealing with a different human biology given how eating another human isn't considered a massive health risk. And if she ends up on the dinner table again, Marinette Bread would be an appropriate part given her parents' job.

I'd outright commission something, but I'm trying to be careful with money, I'm not an artist, and while I can write, I'm not familiar with any of the settings you've been writing for outside of ML, so I doubt I'd be able to write out whatever you request.

The sequel deals with Juleka. So there's a bit more arousal on Juleka's part? But for Rose in general, not for actually being eaten.

In a scene from the anime/manga called Berserk, there is a scene very similar to your story, where they sacrificed a damsel and then devour her by her royal family.

Thanks! The piece was experimental, as I think I mentioned before. I was definitely going for a sort of Erotic Grotesque vibe and there's definitely going to be some cognitive dissonance that makes for a spooky/eerie atmosphere any time you end up trying to write food porn (usually a visual artform), and you decide to make the main ingredient a young girl. Looking back, I think that some of the dinner scene from Rocky Horror Picture Show ended up creeping in as an influence. There's definitely a bit of that in the piece tonally.

With that said, I wasn't actually aiming for horror. So if I succeeded at it it's an unintentional knock on effect.

It's a sex story made to appeal to a specific fantasy fetish where you can eat girls and no one feels bad about it, so I guess technically yes? If you're not into that, the story isn't for you.

Good story, it reminded me a little of those Cannibal Movies of the 60s, like Cannibal Holocaust or Mondo Cane for example. But it's strangely a little explicitly erotic for my interests.
