We take a moment to check in with other affairs.
___________
Short, rapid fire chapters. The next one will take considerably longer, as I'm planning to make it the last.

Nice ride, but pretty abrupt pacing change (intentional, im sure) from last few chapters. Look forward to the conclusion.

Yes, I'm pushing things to finish up. Normally I meander a lot more, but I'm forcing myself to focus. I hope it's not too terrible for it.

I totally Ship Ironbark and Brinda.
I get the feeling you had a lot more planned for this series. But seeing how I'm eager to get back to Kollo I'm okay with this one being sped up a bit.

There was supposed to be a bit more. The only major 'arc' that I skipped was some Avian intrigue. I had originally planned for Nine to be kidnapped and eaten by harpies, and for Velida to save her, but I cut it because it felt silly and I am indeed trying to move things along.

I feel like you're rushing things. But I also get the feeling you want to be done with this tale. I'll keep reading until it's over, but hopefully the story that comes after will be less rushed in its ending. :)

Yes the last few chapters have been a bit of a rush, but I promise this last chapter will be more evenly paced. I started this story waaay too long ago, but I've left too many of my stories unended, so...This one will have an ending. No promises on how good it is of course.

Its interesting to see Willow go from murderous and maniacal to guilt ridden and morally confused. Nice thing to see

She's certainly still leaning to the evil side of the D&D spectrum, but without her fathers influence her more noble dryad roots are evening her out a bit.
