Sometimes the solution to your problem isn't as difficult as it may seem. There's an easier way to say that, but complicating things can be just as helpful as simplifying them.

Getting to feel a little disappointed with Her and her siblings.

On how they mismanaged the heck out of their realm? Or just their characters in general?

Not sure. Seems they don't care about any of their creations at all really. Probably just me then, but this is Lauren's fault. Pretty sure the destroyers that are eat to cause the death, not the death itself, they are just one of a million things that could happen.

Have you read that non-vore story I posted, The Diner, that's something of a prequel? If you haven't, then you hit the nail on the head. Lauren and her siblings didn't set out to create life and a world for the world's sake, but for themselves. But Lauren is learning, and by proxy, her siblings are learning as well, even slower since they don't talk much.

Okay, First family project that they all work together on and lauren decides it shouldn't last long, as the others want, which means death.

I'm open to that interpretation, at least for pre-AHYU Lauren. Lauren also hates stagnation, and she learned by example from her father, an immortal, realm-hopping post-deity, what happens when something is destined to last forever and then some. Even Lauren and her siblings will grow old and die eventually, though their process of aging is much, much slower.
