Thank you for understanding. I'm sorry for being harsh, I should know by now not to comment when I'm depressed or frustrated.

I just take the view that once something is taken from an idea and turned into art (or expressed and shared in any fashion really) it isn't totally fantasy anymore, it has influence. Yes no one's actually being killed, but that doesn't mean it's benign. I don't think it's possible for anything to be truly benign especially where the human mind is concerned.

I think having a lot of friends (especially prey friends) who are hooked on casual, careless, cruel vore and having learned why they feel they 'need' it is a big part of why now it disturbs me. That on top of the fact that there's virtually nothing genuinely loving produced in the vore fandom at all. Furaffinity has roughly 400 vore tagged posts per day and of those 400, half will be sadistic to some degree, a quarter will be semi-consensual or unclear, an eighth will be casual friendly and very OTT lewdness orientated and of the eighth remaining, a tiny handful might actually have some...decent meaning in them. I want to be loving and caring predator, but it feels like if you want people to give a shit about you as a predator you have to be the egregious self-absorbed bitch at least half the time. And the other half you have to be so lewd and teasing that you can't hardly enjoy a cuddle without feeling compelled to turn someone into sludge before the evening's through, while making bad jokes about it.

I'm perfectly capable of playing to a lot of dark fantasies, even hard vore and cub rape. I just wish people didn't pander to them more than the more meaningful aspects of my charcter's personalities. At the end of the day, we shape one another by what we encourage in each other.

Not being harsh at all as far as I'm concerned, just venting your frustrations. Sometimes a little vent to clear the air is good, helps it from building up to being an overwhelming pressure.

I'm honestly not sure what to suggest alas in confronting such an issue, aside from to create content that cultivates the emotions and experiences you wish were portrayed more and trying to find like minded people to share things with. For the record loving and caring preds are top tier IMO, I'm just also in that ultra lewd category alas ^^;

Well I'm trying to, but writing is a thankless task and the only way I can earn money to buy art of what I'd like to see is to take commissions to make stuff that there's already far too much of.

*Shrugs* Well I'm also in the high tier lewdness category, so what? Lewdness for the sake of lewdness has to be the most boring thing in the world. The internet is drowning in it and so is Ekas and e621 and furaffinity and all these places. You can't see the characters for the cum and girl juice. I've been into vore since before I can remember, before I knew it was thing, before I knew what sex was. I watched art on ekas since about 2006-2007, I joined 2017 to try and find some community and friendship and escape from reality. All I learned was that the same rules of society apply here: if you give people pleasure, they'll show you love, adoration and desire, if you set boundaries they'll admire you for it from a distance and say they love you for it but they won't be there for you when it doesn't suit them. If you care for them they'll hurt you for it because they don't want care they want pleasure. And if you make loving characters oh sure, they'll call them lovely and admirable and sweet...but 'not sexy enough' or 'boring' or 'not what I'm into' and certainly not worth their time and not worth funding art of. The only thing worth time effort and money in this pit is whatever makes us wet and hard most regardless of what that entails. 'show a character some love' means 'make them as perverse and depraved and careless as possible'. Funny idea of love in my opinion. There's no escaping the stuff that makes irl hell on earth, here we just put it in a fantasy context so that we can idolize it and feel justified in it. Like this comic, what have we got? A group of unwary friends and a pair of preds who really couldn't care less. One friend gets caught, the others love and care for her enough to try and save her. Your character gives a lazy warning that makes no sense to the girls. The bunny just lays back and enjoys her meal on the basis that they had it coming to them 'cause of an accident. Your last words to a group of girls who've lost one friend and are about to die expecting it to be permanent is "Just relax and enjoy the moment". And we all have to chip in with "They were warned", "That's what you get" and Yes "it's just fantasy". So what? Forgive me for finding it hard to admire characters portrayed to be so pathetic. I thought we came here to escape from the things in reality but everything we promote in these fandoms is what makes life hell on earth for many of us. And if we love and care for our characters we should want them to grow to be better versions of themselves, not weaker and worse.

Your twins for example, they seem like they must be really interesting characters, but after watching for all these years all I can say about them is one seems to be a happy go lucky prey slut, the other alternates between being slutty and being reserved and neither give a toss about anyone who isn't a friend. And Umi seems like she must be a lovely character, but all one ever sees of her is gluttony and carelessness and being loving only to those she can eat or fuck. I'm sure there's so so much more to them and no reflection on you the creators I know you're wonderful and special people. Of course it's your choice what you do with your characters and where you spend your time and effort. But being popular and well established and thus far reaching in this community you have a big influence on what people see and what gets encouraged or discouraged. I hope you realize that.

Really though, it's a fantastic comic, and I love it. I remember at first worrying about it, but ultimately the casual way Karyn joins in - knowing full well already what's gonna happen - and is grinning the whole time, it really helps my mind see this as at least a pleasant fate.

As far as my personal head-cannon goes: at worst, either Karyn has been looking forward to this for an age and long ago decided it was how she wanted to go, or she definitely has a way to come back. Or perhaps she just has some level of meta 4th wall knowledge that she's a recurring character and isn't being "perma-vored" so to speak. But especially with the casual and friendly way she advises the others to enjoy it, I interpret it to mean that this cum-melting is both pleasurable (or definitely not painful), and not strictly speaking a one-way trip, and she knows that from experience. Could be it takes a while though, hence the "danger" is the inconvenience if you had other plans.

I definitely second the idea that it would be totally hot if the second twin came along and enjoyed the aftermath.

Seriously, brava! for so marvelously both rendering this story and inspiring my imagination!
