I have known your hyena-comic for years (of course). But damn... this "you"-perspective? That adds a whole new level of intensity to the story. That really captured me, mind and body (so to say). Thank you for revisiting this story with us.

I’ve always liked that little comic. It took a bit of thought to explain why you could get eaten by your own pet. The most reasonable explanation was that you haven’t had her long and she has some training issues. 83

Whoa. This was a great read. I love the constant thought process, the almost unnerving of knowing where this is going, and not wanting it to, but needing to read on. Then the guards KNOWING what happened but thinking its a trick...great touch. 11/10!

Who knows maybe the hyena broke out and than let the prey out or was just waiting for prey to pass out to get all the struggles before letting him out.

If they hyena Just taking his time than the prey may be safe.
