The conclusion of the AJ/Dash feud. Thank to all who cast a vote, was very close!
This story was written 100% by Limelightu, the absolute mad lad. So go praise him. Do not praise me in any way.

I'm glad you enjoyed it so much!

Nice one. Really enjoyed it. Still feel a bit bad for Scootaloo.

Welp. Hated both of those outcomes. I wanted rainbow to win since she tends to be the loser in these things, and I really wanted to see more from Sweetie and Scoots duo.
Ah, well. Good writing none the less!

Sorry it didn’t go the way you’d hoped. Thank you for the kind words anyway. I would’ve enjoyed writing Rainbow pred as well but it wasn’t meant to be. There’s always the possibility of us doing flashbacks to pred characters who met unfortunate demises.

At least where sweetie and scoots is concerned it'd have to be a hell of a divergence. There's a term to describe my problem with it called 'Chekhov's gun'. Is a kind of cautionary where if you show something in one scene should be used in a future scene. In detail it was mentioning a rifle mounted to a wall on set for efficiency but it can also apply to a story flow. When Sweetie talked about eating more ponies and the new dynamic between her and Scootaloo it implied there would be more, then threw that away with no payoff.
I guess you could shoehorn in a scene or two inbetween, but i'm not sure if that would work and ultimately not my decision anyway, but I figured i'd put my 2 cents in.

I am quite familiar with the concept. I don’t want to give away too much of what’s in store for the future, but this was the middle of the CMC storyline, not the end. ;)

+1
I would have loved that two. My last comment wasnt a complaint it was an observation of what votes against rainbow tends to be.

I believe AlbanyExpression was upset because your comments always address the outcomes, and not the contents of the story.

Well im sorry about that. I love his work and thibk hes great l. I apologize for not coming off that way. I am a little upset how creative and noncreative this has become. Like i knew the answe of the "vote" the day it was called not cause of the story but because it oversaturates votes with RD in my opinion. Almost everytime there is a vote with RD being pred she loses. I was simply trying to state a fact for those who read expecting RD to win so they had tempered expectations. Once again through the story and the writing are top tier. I woild be watching him or the series if i didn't think it was great.

Futher more I want to make clear that the idea of post post vore and the casualness is what I do loke to see and that its creative and rare to see in mlp.

I didn’t know that there was a tendency for RD to lose votes. When we set it up, both of us were expecting RD to win. Ah well now she won’t be able to lose any more votes in the future, heh.

Good joke and yes. From a large amoubt of votes I've seen RD had a high tendency to lose and just end up with a predictable community for votes involving RD

Just out of curiosity... since Applejack slept with her brother before she ate him, were there any plans for her to find out she was pregnant with his baby later? A little someone to continue the direct family line with?
Posted by AlbanyExpression 2 years ago Report
I don't know if we would have done anything with the idea, but that was definitely the implication.
Posted by TheBizarreOne 2 years ago Report
Indeed.
I have the feeling Pinkie will be very excited when she finds out Applejack is expecting. :)
I also look forward to seeing how any future installments of the series turn out.

Thank you, I appreciate it! I know you prefer non-fatal content so it's nice that you can still find value in this.
RE: Future updates, keep your eyes peeled...

There are exceptions to every rule, and while I prefer to only write non-fatal, I'm not going to turn down reading a good story just because it is fatal. And for the most part, the victims in this series are happily willing to die (and in many cases wanted to be eaten, or at least didn't mind or were accepting when it happened), so that doesn't bother me. It's the predator being genuinely nasty about their actions that bugs me more than anything, and I have yet to really run across any of that in this series (with the possible exception of Chrysalis in the one story, but that one still bugs me less than other examples I've run across).
As for keeping my eyes out for new content... will do. :)

I agree that tone is very important, I'm very into it being a willing/casual thing with no real distress on anyone's part. And it's only natural that the only pred to bug you would be Chrysalis ; )

LOL!
