Aluette's...abilities, and most of what she does requires ALOT of aether, and her time in the First taught her many a thing. Such as Sin Eaters being absolutely chock full of the stuff.

So being the hero that she is, she decides to go after one of the bigger Sin eaters she ended up encountering, Forgiven Obscenity, though Forgiven Gluttony would probably be more apt given how ravenously she went at it, the adventurers she took to Mt Gulg were probably fine with it, saves fighting it!
