Though already well fed, the seal laboriously gulps down this second meal. What can you do? In for a penny, in for a pound.
The last thing the woman sees before everything goes dark and slimy is her son's feet, still waiting their chance at digestion. Her feet will rest next to his for a while as their upper bodies stew. It's a family affair, you might say.

It's not unheard-of in nature, fish eating birds sometimes have a fish tail hanging out waiting its turn and I saw a video of an alligator swallowing an iguana that ended with the iguana's hind legs and tail hanging out because the gator's body cavity was stuffed full of food and it had to wait for digestion to make room for the rest.
