In an instant Valley Glamour’s world went dark. The Pegasus casually swimming in the warm shallows, as she thoroughly enjoyed a summers day. The mare interrupting her sunbathing session by taking to the waters for a short swim to cool off from the overbearing beat of Celestia’s light. Valley loving the cool caress of the salty sea upon her fur and skin, as she submerged to feel the calm currents truly caress her beach-ready body. The mare closing her eyes each time she submerged to stop the sea salt stinging her precious peepers, the mare enjoying herself as she felt the embrace of the ocean, the periods lasting but a few seconds before her biology urged her to surface.

Then it hit her like a brick wall, the mare’s sesquicentennial strokes knocked off their rhythm as if she had swum face-first into a brick wall. The shuttering stop causing an eruption of bubbles from her photogenic muzzle, as her eyes snapped open to see what had rudely decided to bother her bathing. The Pegasus expecting to see the radiant sapphire waters that her eyes were so often compared to, but instead, she saw only the dim darkness before she let out a yelp as something clamped down around her bubbly buttocks, the grasp pulling her dock upwards eliciting a painful sting as it bent the wrong way. The eruption of bubbles as her lungs expressed their distaste from the sudden intimate grasp that left a wave of pain as the tail’s disks pinched, and the mare instinctively began to struggle.

The mare somehow knowing she was in some creature’s maw, her adrenalin fuelling her as she failed, as all trimmings of civility were reduced to a mad worming like a fly caught in a spider’s web. The mare having no way of knowing it, but her shapely body had caught the eye of a hungry Mangle fish of unusual size, and the armoured fish had decided to make a meal out of the mewling mare. The compression of what had to be mandibles forcing more air from Valley’s lungs in a stream of stifled screams. The mouth lacking teeth, as it seemed to just be blunt bony plates like a press brake, and much to the mares disdain they began to slowly close to flange her frenzying form. The mare’s shame on full display as the tight grasp of the modified jaw slowly descended, causing the Pegasus’s bones to groan in complain. The mares frame fighting the force, but all it did was make her taint twitch and aggravated anus flutter a fit, as she could do nothing as her plump plot was nipped between two shearing edges.

The pain reaching a peak, like a slow boil as if the predator was teasing her body to see its limits. This but pone part of a two-pronged assault as the air-breathing equine was running out of the pitiful reserve of air in her lungs, and she now had to worry about drowning along with having her pelvis crushed. The pitiful sounds of a mare holding on to what could be her last breath barely carrying from the slimy mouth as the body of her devourer stifled her sounds to nothing but a whimper.

The patreons voted for the Manglefish, and exotic and rare predatory armoured fish which lacks teeth instead having a modified jaw that serves the same purpose. Unfortunately for its prey, it uses these mandibles to compress and fracture its meals, which the poor pegasus Valley Glamour is now learning first hoof.
