I don't think it'd be possible to take the ball from her if you're smaller than Bowser in size. This Peach seems pretty sturdy and could body check you into the next kingdom if you tried.

Though by the looks of it, Peach will probably just eat the ball and take it to the goal while it gurgles and jostles around in her slightly larger belly.
