Well, Zelda doesn't seem to mind too much either... And, at this size, she could sit on ol' mummified Ganondorf and snap his dried up body in half. There's more than one benefit to this "Awakening"!

Eh, shouldn't be a problem. Link can just cook her some food that restores stamina and then she can snack along the way. Once they're underground, Zelda can just ride on that beast thing until they reach Ganon. It looks pretty strong to me.
