After the unfortunate legal case surrounding a recently disappeared family diner-a sudden surge of surprisingly simple yet effective robotics began to appear throughout the entertainment industry. In the wake of scrutiny towards the ill-fated establishment, valuable-and easily reproduced-mechanical technology, previously overlooked, bought amnesty for what remained of the company.
While the original samples vanished into the woodwork, plenty of spare endoskeletons and frames remained to produce replicas for former competitors, new businesses, and private individuals. These robots, with their comprehensive intelligence and fluid movement, absent of all* otherworldly influence, found new homes in daily life.

Though, after a time-it became difficult to discern where the line between sophisticated AI and true life was drawn, and production of the robots slowly reduced as more and more began to exhibit the desire to truly define their newfound existence. Unwilling to risk any sort of legally reprehensible outcome, the sponsor company that created the new robotics pressured politicians towards recognizing the robots as a form of sentient life, realizing that they could instead predispose them as a relatively cheap and reliable source of labor-even if they would no longer be forced to obey every command, they still relied on the company for continued maintenance, and the propagation of their newly created species.
And so, Locke Wyrre finds herself an officially recognized citizen, somewhat dubiously employed and enjoying a stable residence in a middle class apartment complex far from the workshop in which she was created. Her new neighbors greet her with curious glances, but her life is improving everyday-and she leaves her home each morning with optimism and the desire to learn and explore the world around her.

Righto, this one has been a long time comin'. I've always sorta liked the animatronic design style (Mostly the segmentation of the limbs, and the robotic elements, over their actual place in the games), even beyond FNAF-since I've always loved robots, especially those animatronic dinosaurs they have at special events sometimes. Anyway, I wanted to bring that kind of design element to my own stuff, without having to really keep any of the game stuff attached. Having the franchise raided for it's robotics tech seemed like a good choice, and a bit on the nose-considering I'm doing that thematically. Otherwise, she'll exist in the Jaime vu universe (pretty much our reality, with a few things thrown in to various parts of it).

My goodness! I have to say, you’ve certainly out done yourself with this fine “foxy” animatronic (no pun intended X3) and she’s definitely has quite the background story to her!

Hmmm, intriguing. Such a, Cybernetic Citizen, would of course do herself a favour, to perhaps find and befriend a Technician or Engineer, one capable of conducting maintenance, checkups and repairs if necessary, or perhaps, even occasional retrofits or upgrades.

A good idea, but it may be difficult to simply stumble upon a ready and willing technician, she’ll need to become more familiar with the locals first.

Seems the company's been slacking a little bit on that right thigh and left lower leg, unless they based Locke's design off of Foxy's when they made her.

Her lowered physical integrity is supposed to be in result of the longevity of her service-she was constructed a while ago, and is wearing a bit thin in places, as you can see from the total lack of skin/fur on her fingers.
