Meet Vivi, or "V", my new Eevee OC
Guess I've been in a bit of a character creation mode lately. I came up with the idea of an Eevee character that could transform to her various evolutions for a short time, and even expand on her adaptivity to create new forms for whatever I was in the mood for. Before I knew it I had a whole list of possible ideas and some traits for her.
She's a cheery, athletic girl who aspires to be a hero. She carries around some specially made tablets that triggers her evolutions when she eats them. After a while they make their way through her system and she reverts to being an Eevee. You'll notice there's no black/dark tablet holder, that being because she doesn't see her "dark" form as "heroic" and refuses to become an Umbreon. (That being said, I've also been craving an Umbreon OC and will not let this opportunity go to waste, let's just say I see her story line intertwining with Dark Samus at some point)
I also mentioned she could transform into some other forms. This would require some different methods but is a nice door to some other things I might find myself craving, like say an Alcremie.
How she can obtain these unconventional forms is by eating others. This will trigger her adaptive body to take on the traits of her "digested" prey. While she finds herself enjoying the process more than she'd care to admit, she's adamant to only eat those who are okay with it. It's also not a permanent commitment, as once the prey makes their way through Vivi's system, she reverts to her base form and lays an egg which will soon hatch into a reformed prey.

I LOVE the character! SO much potential and a lot of versatility for a lot of scenarios given her abilities.
It is also a nice reference to the Eevee whom could evolve and devolve at will due to being experimented on by Team Rocket.
I look forward to see more! ^^

So… it’s an Eevee OC with Kirby powers? Ingests something, gets something based on what’s eaten, and then changes back after a while, but with the Yoshi side effect of making an egg. Interesting. I would imagine that, like Yoshi, not everything that gets eaten comes back.

Essentially yeah lol. As she currently is, there's no risk of permanence. But things might change if she goes to the Dark side.

So let me make sure I’m understanding this. If Vivi eats another pokemon, anthro or otherwise, she gains some of their traits and/or abilities? So does this mean Vivi could become a dragon type by eating a dragon type, or does she simply gain some of those traits temporarily? Does she gain anything from eating normal people, Luke pokemon trainers?

That's the intention yep. Eat a dragon, become dragon type with some of their traits. And yeah it could branch out beyond Pokemon.

This is pretty good!
I could see her using Umbreon when she has to take on crimes as a dark hero tho, if ya want.
Like she knows that a dark hero or vigilante would be best, so umbreon would come into play!

She really strives for that noble/honor hero, but I have plans for an Umbreon form related to her running into Dark Samus.
