Really loved the first one.
Would be nice to see more conversations in that world. Might also be cool to see continued interaction between Beth's grandparents and friend. Loved the tone and matter of factness of grandma.

The second vignette is my favorite. Trapped together for three years with potentially no choice but to wait in darkness. All because they couldn't be bothered to read a sign.

What's worse in hindsight, was just before she could have rebirthed them. She ended up unbirthing even more people. So by the time the next blue moon is over. They could be essentially trapped for six years. Or if persistent with fame, far longer, to potentially a lifetime.

now my thing is what does the grandmother mean by 18 months does that mean in 9 months her daughter would be reborn and then 9 more months her granddaughter would be reborn

and i just thought about it if it is true wouldn't that mean in 18 months the mother would be 9 months old and the granddaughter would be a newborn

Hey nice catch on. When we're doing this we did not think that.
If going by the world's logic, then either grandmother meant she could have some way of birthing her daughter and then her granddaughter nine months after. Or change it to 18 years.

yeah because i thought about it when the grandmother said in 18 months they were starting over then the mother who would be a 9 month old and give birth to her newborn daughter
