What if Michiru had spotted Nazuna with the cultists, but hadn't seen or heard that she was actually their sage/idol/prophet Déese Louve? This is one idea I had of how things might have turned out in that case.
I mentioned with my previous story that I didn't have any plans for more BNA stories at that moment, but... well... this idea came to me last night and I just had to write it. I hope you all enjoy it! :)

YEAH That’s what I’m talking about! You’ve done it again! Great work, I love this sort of confusion and misunderstanding in a Vore story! And I needn’t mention my satisfaction as who the pred is! I love it!

Hehe, thanks. I had a lot of fun writing this one, once I got the idea for how the scenario would work out. Odds are Michiru will never figure out that she unknowingly digested her dear friend into nothing more than a thin layer of fat.

Oh Michiru Michiru Michiru... you ditzy tanuki, you’re all too eager to jump into the fray, huh? Well, this should solve one problem, though it creates so many others! Not the least of which that Michiru will think Nazuna somehow slipped through her fingers once the cult disbands from its missing leader.
But knowing Michiru, she’ll never learn the truth. Ah well, she can at least rest easy thinking that Nazuna is still alive and well somewhere, even if her final fate was becoming belly pudge for her friend.

One can always count on Michiru to charge full speed ahead once she comes up with an idea, even, or rather ESPECIALLY when she's completely misunderstanding things.
Yeah, Michiru will likely never realize that Nazuna is now nothing more than a layer of cute tanuki fat. At least she got to enjoy herself one last time.

And after she digested her, perhaps Michiru can transform twice as good now? I always enjoy it when a pred can take traits from the prey, whether it’s something as simple as growing fox ears or as complex as turning into a whole different species or gaining super powers.
And it’s nice that Nazuna was digested in her sleep. Not only does Michiru remain ignorant of what she did, but Nazuna had a peaceful end too. Maybe she would have wanted to end up this way, if it came down to it?

Oh, almost certainly. If she bothers to try, Michiru will undoubtedly find that she can shapeshift into pretty much anyone or anything now.
While it's certainly better for Michiru's mental health for things to work out this way, I have to say that, with what I know of Nazuna, I think she'd prefer a big, flashy, dramatic event that's seen by everyone. She'd want her devouring to be a glorious finale that's told and retold around the world for generations to come.

That’s a good point. There will be a certain uproar about her disappearance, but it’s not nearly as dramatic as she’d like. For Nazuna, this is a humiliating end XD
