I beg to differ: http://puu.sh/GsVrG/e9d6b5e7e1.jpg
>Same Ahaego face on the prey
>Same hand-phone-looking hand gesture
>Both preys masturbating in the balls
>Same spread legs, resting on balls pose on the pred
>Same tail bend
>Left leg virtually identical in pose, toes, to the original picture.
They have changed things, yes. But you can't look at the two images and say that the latter one has been made without the artist ever seeing or coming into contact with the original picture.
So you're calling it out as plagiarism just because the poses are similar? No artist can call dibs on poses for a drawing. I happen to know the artist personally. Call this what you will, the drawing she has here is her own and it's not plagiarism.
Look at the picture overlapping. The prey pose, facial expression even the hand sign is. The. Same.
That is not coincidence. Like i said, not all is traced but some parts have clearly been and you need to be one really ignorant sucker to not admit that parts are eerily similar.
I am not saying an artist can own a pose, but what you’re doing right now is the equivalent of saying Atlantic Rim isn’t a rip-off of Pacific rim because “you can’t copyright big robots fighting monsters”
Honestly, looking at them overlapping. Its pretty damn obvious that lower half has just been coppied. Upper half might be original but not that lower half.
The artist is using different characters in similar poses. That is NOT plagiarism and I know quite a few skilled, longtime artists who agree with me. If you were a real artist, you’d know that.
"I know many skilled artists"
"I have black friends"
"I have a relative who's gay"
You think I haven't heard that excuse before? Show that to any artist and they will agree that the bottom half has been traced.
Also, GoreQueenNova noticed it too. But you didn't seem to aknowledge that.
Right now its no longer about them, right now I'm more interested in you.
How someone can call themselves an 'artist' while drawing over someone elses' work is mind boggling.
There have been actual industry artists from movies and games fired and blacklisted for less clear-cut cases than this one.
Right now I'm seeing a white knight defending someone who's clearly done something that's not ok.
-Am I claiming you can't use other pictures for reference? No
-Am I saying the artist of the original picture owns the pose? No
What I am saying is that clearly the bottom half of the picture have been traced or just side-by-side coppied. No attempts to change the hand pose, no attempts to make the expression, the way the female is laying, the way she's pleasuring herself different.
Tracing isn't always someone placing a paper over a light board and copying the whole picture. Sometimes it is simply copying parts of the picture, that is the case here.
I think the artist has done enough different that the picture doesn't need to be taken down as plagirism, but that it does warrant at least having a link and mention that insipiration has been taken from the original picture.
That internal is obviously just coppied from Nyxondyx picture. You've drawn a bit of it on your own but I'd mention them as inspiration at the least for something as similar as that.
Ah goodness, I'm so sorry. A friend of yours brought this to my attention and I've made a blog post in regards to this sort of thing so more people will be made aware of my stance on this particular situation.
To provide some context and proof that your work isn't overstepping any boundaries, I'd recommend that whenever you do any more future artworks, if you do end up using any more reference material, make sure you link the original work(s) you've referenced or just credit the artist by tagging them in the post, you might be able to avoid this problem in the future.
Not everyone functions like I do or harbors similar levels of protection or lack thereof in regards to their works, so don't be afraid to ask others for permissions either.
Again, I deeply apologize that you've had so many people hounding you about this, I hope it doesn't happen again to anyone else.
. Nyxondyx Thank you so much for the commit on my artwork. I’m glad we could sort this whole mess out. I am fairly new on this site and am still learning. I hear your good friends with my close friend meka590 I’d like to point out that I had not copied/traced the drawing of yours. I just used the pose and didn’t think you could take dibs on poses as this is a completely different character. I admire and love your style of artwork very much and have some favored. I’ll be sure to get permission tho for next time. I wanna give you credit for my drawing here. Thank you also Meka590 also for helping me out here as well. Your an amazing friend and wonderful artist. I really appreciate this really and want you both to know it’s ok you can’t control people. I hope Nyxondyx that we could be friends. Thank you snd hope you have a wonderful night. Sincerely GirGamer24.

Whatever dude. ???? Believe what you want. You’re the only person being ignorant here making a big deal over a drawing.
